I haven't read any of this genre of fiction but this series sounds like something I would enjoy.

It's wild. I've been reading them since the 80s.

I've read this book, and there's at least one extremely violent scene, the big scene between the Remo character and the villain's equally villainous daughter.
Even for this series, it's a real "WTF" kind of scene.
