Ryan so inspiring! I am currently a real estate broker and my journey so far has been exactly 1:1 with yours. Had a restaurant, that I invested all in and it closed just 2 months after opening, because of Covid. Became a realtor with the thought of just paying the bills. First million euro listing I was thinking, wow if I sell this, then I can buy a car and etc... Still on the market this listing. I had 5-6 deal break through and I'm barely surviving in the city, just trying to cover up the rent and the bills. Sometimes I'm thinking maybe I should just switch careers, maybe this isn't for me. Some days you just get depressed, when you see how everyone else is selling and you're not. But every now and then I watch your video and how it compares with my situation so far. And you holding to dear life and succeeding in this industry, just makes me wanna squeeze my teeth and see the bright light at the end of the tunnel. I really appreciate your videos man, they keep inspiring. Hopefully one day I can look back to this moment and compare the rest of my journey with yours :)
I would say Real Estate agent career path in NYC is very stressful.Deals fall through like theres no tomorrow right when you get psyched up. I think Ryan makes it sound easy but it's def much more harder in NYC with the competition.
Keep your head up my man. And remember one thing, which changed my life .. as said by a personal development coach and real estate expert - you did not lose what’s not yours. You never lost what was yours my guy, and what’s yours will find its way to you. A rejection simply gears you up to the next opportunity. I know it sounds cliche, but believe in those words and it will do wonders. Hope this was useful, best of luck champ.
I totally forgot about this comment. Well, fast forward around 1 year after that, I’m one of the best realtors in the city, with a couple of million dollar deals and agencies are fighting to get me in their companies. The lesson here is, keep fighting, it will eventually come for you brothers!

Your story of how you started out as a newbie especially in new york real estate where they wont let you touch anything even slightly substantial until youve got a proven track record.
