I get it that he skates alot but it's not a good look when the skater himself says the shoe only lasts 2 weeks before it turned to shit. What kinda advertisement is that. The shoe he "upgraded " "The Wino", was probably touted as a durable shoe at its release. Now it's such shit Dickson had to make a better shoe.
One thing i hate hearing pros say is "I grew up skating these shoes forever" when he was flow for Adidas when he was 15, then was on Fallen for a long time, and now on Emerica. I get he is trying to have some roots in the company but hearing that from every pro when they get a colorway or a shoe annoys me.
and Flickshield isnt a new concept, maybe having it being exposed for people to tell apart the wino from his shoe is new, but an underlay of rubber under the toe vamp isnt new, i do a breakdown of it on my channel where I asked the Emerica TM about it if anyone wants to check it out.
Skate shoes are such racket. Every shoe that comes out always has some upgrade, better seams, cushion, heel pad. These aren't all technology upgrades since the last shoe was putout. They intentionally make them shit..
