Iv been skating figgy g6, emerica has always been my favorite. Are you sponosered or affliated with emerica in anyway? Or do you teally just stick with wmerica as a personal preference? Im getting the spany g6....more my style
Congrats on the part! Currently skating through 4 pairs of Emerica's - two Omen Hi's (one Winkowski), a Jon Dickson in pylon orange and a Tilt G6. I'm actually finding it charming how I'm not dealing with multiple foot injuries since committing fully to suppressing my urges to wear cheap Vans. I've always been a sole tech lifer and they definitely have the best vulc in the game, but I still crave a good cupsole. Now if only I could find some Accel OG's or Maranas on sale...

I had 1 pair last year and they are a very solid shoes. Good durability and good ratio of board control/protection. They fit really nice I have problem with most shoes that are too tight on my toes but these were perfect./ The main problem and downside of these shoes is the position of the laces as you mentioned, for me they literally blew in the first session on both sides by doing just some flips and ollies regular and switch. Edit: glad that didn't happen to you, I guess the way I drag my ollies/flips might be the problem.

EMERICA HAS REALLY HELPED MY SKATING. I HAVE GOTTEN HURT WAY LESS. DUE TO GREAT GRIP WHEN YOU BAIL A TRICK.

i should get some i been wearing DCs for ever might be time to try something new
I found a pair of the Tilt G6 Eco at a Ross for $20 and I was stoked. I haven't skated them yet but they seem like they would be at least a decent vulc. The only other pair of Emerica's I've had were some Low Vulcs and they weren't too bad either. Would you say the Pilar is kinda like a Half Cab?

I got the g6 figgy and couldn’t feel my board. Was surprised you said it had good board feel.
