Agree with you about the minimum shutter speed. I have handheld lots of pictures at 1/10th second, but as you say that's ok if the subject isn't moving!
You didn't really clarify the upsides to setting the shutter-speed to a minimum of 1/10 instead of the stock 1/40. Would you mind explaining that? Amazing series tho, you helped me tons!
The current GR a cameras have great IBIS, so going to a lower shutter speed helps in poorer light conditions. But it’s an individual choice, based on your own confidence when shooting hand held. But, you also have to consider motion blur. If that’s an issue, then but up the shutter speed, open up the aperture and let the camera raise the ISO.
Hi, thank you for the video. I have a question you can maybe help with. My interval timer doesn't work anymore on my GR II. Do you think doing a full camera reset would help and make it work ? Thank you for any insight...
When you are in P Mode (on the top dial) & select 1/10th shutter speed, will that only apply to when set the camera to P Mode, or will that apply to ALL settings on the top dial e.g. Aperture Priority / Speed Priority etc as well? - Thanks
Very helpful ! thanks !
Cheers!
This is a good series and a public service to GR owners (newer ones) like me! TY
Cheers!
thanks a lot for sharing Your knowledge about this little beauty. greetings from Milan

Glad to hear it!

You know you can also access the menu through the viewing mode, you don't have to switch the camera "on"?

Sorry friend, but I’ve never owned a GRii.
If it were me, I would try a reset and I’d check if I was running the final firmware
Good luck 🙏🏻

All shooting modes will be affected.
I’ll cover this in the next video 👍
