I dyed my short natural hair berry red using a $6 dark and lovely box dye and it's LIT. just in case anyone wants to do it without having to buy a bunch of ingredients 😂
"Disclaimer, I'm not a professional; I just like to figure out what happens" that's the DIY in you and I love it 😂😂😂 I truly missed your videos Janelle; I'm binge watching❤
Just a quick tip! Next time use a color remover first to remove as much as the blue/black dye as possible. The L'Oréal works great on virgin hair but not so much on hair that was dyed, especially black.
I made the mistake of not using color oopps, and I have black hair and tried to dye it red and I have red hot roots do you have any suggestions on how to fix ? Lol
this came out really good! 😍 i just bleached and then dyed my hair bright red/orange (i do have a video on my small lil channel if you wanna see) and i managed to keep my curls intact too! we might be low key good at this hair dyeing game girl 😉
This color is so cute on you and the curls 😍 I’m officially dying my hair myself this week and I’ve watched this video like 10 times. Lol I’m so nervous.
I love the color. I recently dyed my hair blue black and my grey hairs are green. If I attempt again I might just dye it this color to cancel out the green. 😍 This color is beautiful.
FYI peroxide will only lift to a certain point so when you use it you won't have loads of different colour variations as long as you left it on long enough
Omggg yes I’ve been waiting on this video 🥰🥰💃💃💃 n let’s take a min to appreciate the quality of the video freennnnnn but I wanted to do blue black now I scared too now lol n my ends is red atm sooo lol
seriously love how many tutoritals are on youtube! Im a big fan of ZALA Hair extensions, incredible quality for the price. My hair is pretty long, but thin. I just wanted to add a tiny bit of length but mostly fullness. These do the trick perfectly. I have a different style of extensions that were a lot more expensive and honestly are just never good enough. ZALA are consistent and im so over the moon! 🙌🙌
It's gorgeous sis!!! I dyed mine with the magenta shade in August and I'm obsessed😌😍❤ If you dye it again, try to wait at least 2 weeks after this dye job! But even if you don't, it looks gooood girl😍🔥
Hey sis, is your magenta super bright or more of a burgundy? I am about to dye mine and I got 2 boxes of red and one of magenta and I’m going for a burgundy red but I don’t want it to be too bright
Have always used Zala's tapes and clip ins but thought it was time to try the halo! Couldn't be happier. So gentle on your head and easy to use. real game changer - prob going to be wearing extnesions for the rest of my life now hahah
I actually used this same brand but with the copper, it's definitely a great hair dye. Loveeee the color, and also you can use the cap to poke the hair dye so you don't have to use the end of the comb :) just an FYI, but a great job! Love it.
I tried to color my hair originally with through L’Oréal hi lift using 30 volume developer and it looked similar to your hair color. I later bleached my hair and colored it auburn. I waited about a year and tried the L’Oréal again and used a 40 volume developer with the colors red and copper. My color is a vibrant burgundy. My point in saying all of this is you may need a higher developer to lift the color more to show the red as more vibrant.
Omg I literally just posted this exact same video like last week !! (except my hair still had some color in it from some box dye) loveeee how your color came out 😍😍
That product actually does have bleach in it so be careful on your next steps to getting a bright red take it from me cause I got color damage but I also did the most back to back 😪 be better than me lol
@@ericadiane2687 Developer can’t develop without a lightning agent in the product. Trust me I thought that too but even if you were to just put developer on your hair it’s more like adding conditioner to it instead since it has no effects other than opening your cuticles. Have to be careful of one step products like these since they still have lightening properties in them.
@@ericadiane2687 I recommend just getting adore. Putting it all over your hair and sitting under a heated drier. It’s a semi and doesn’t cause any damage. The heat will allow the color to go into your strands but it will wash out eventually. I did this and since I have low porosity hair it stayed for a long time.
Lol same but I have long hair like her so I’m hoping that saves me soo it won’t be too short😭I’ve been straightening my hair like 3 times a month for a year I need to cut like 4 inches off now lol
Tried to get my hair dyed this past Sunday, but the creme of nature dye didn't work AT. ALL. My stylist said we're gonna try again next Sunday, I will be purchasing the LOreal Hilights this time 😭
Jae you’re supposed to use the cap to puncture the tube 😂😂. Try mixing the red with the magenta color next time and maybe 40 volume developer instead, if you want it brighter. It came out super cute either way sis! 💕💕 I dyed my hair using this a few months ago! (Check it out on my channel)

Try ion color sealer it helps the dryness and your curls will be Popping I dye my hair all the time. I remember I did this when everybody was dying their hair turquoise and blue then that thing turned green so I had to dye my hair back redin order to cancel it out.
My hair was pitch black and very kinky and I used creme of nature’s dye in the shade red 7.6 twice and it lightened my hair a lot. I waited a couple months in between both and i’m considering dying my hair again almost a year after that.
Also I should add my hair is very fragile and I just had to wait in between and give my hair breaks and give it treatments and I was fine. It’s still very red a year later and my hair is permanently red. It does fade a little bit that specific dye fades to a very natural red color that I often get compliments on
You don’t need to pre lighten it. Especially if you plan on using this line of dye. I used the magenta shade on my friend with black virgin hair and it came out hella vibrant.
OMG! I was really trying NOT to dye my hair again....but then I watch this video! Dang! Ok I'm pretty positive it was the bleach that damaged my hair in the first place, so I think I will give this a shot w/o bleach.
