You're a Virgo :)))) Yes, I know very well the pleasure (.. the pressure?..) of "checking a list" and I'm glad I drew your attention to it. However, please do not neglect the suggestions received from other fans, and make your own journey into the ocean of 25 years of Nightwish music. Also, I LOVE that you reacted to Floor's solo performances, if you are interested, we make a list for that too :))
Yes, I love her so much:) just watched her new crowd funded one from her show from Amsterdam (I think it is?) today and Omgoodness:D I think she said more are coming?! I will share it tomorrow, but I love her so much
@@PandoraPlaysMusic I'm one of the funders, I know :) After participating in Beste Zangers 2019, Floor performed a series of solo concerts in the Netherlands in early 2020 (in the Netherlands, her country, she was little known until then), but the desire of fans around the world to participate was so big, so Floor ran a crowdfunding campaign for the professional recording of the last concert in the series, which was to take place in March 2020 at AFAS Amsterdam, and then post it in full online for us, free of charge. The necessary amount was collected in just a few hours (!!!) Then followed the lockdown, with the cancellation of all concerts .. After several postponements, the promised concert took place in early September 2021, and this is the first song in the concert. The others will follow in the coming weeks, one by one, and at the end she will post the entire concert online, plus a backstage documentary. :)
In my day job, I need to understand a persons level of comfort, discomfort or pain (threshold), or their sense of concern/confusion/tracking reality in a potentially uncomfortable environ. Being a dentist, I can't rely on their words (mouths full of fingers, etc) so my assistants and I read body-language, especially the eye brows. ... so, tonight, I spent the entire time (song) reading your eyebrows... my apologies for the creepiness factor (we dentists are an odd lot). If I may: You enter the song, looking for the theme, the beat, the pattern that makes us all feel at ease and in sync with any given piece of music. Oops, sorry, it's Nightwish ... there's almost always an intro that is different in beat than the first verse. - Eyebrows become tense, then arc in one direction or the other, searching for the pattern that soothes. And being Nightwish, there are interesting rhythm changes, time-signature changes and perhaps a key-change or two. - More eyebrow gymnastics while you get the feel of the flow from first verse to chorus. Then there's the inevitable bridge to an unexpected place... in this case, it was Jukka's drum patterning that led to the Floor Classic Choir.. just a touch operatic, without belaboring the vibrato. The eyes widen to help the ears take in all that's coming their way. And then the inevitable smile when the bridge resolves back into the more familiar territory of the chorus again... from that point on, you are all smiles as the song goes over now-familiar territory and brings you back home. Tonight, this song didn't take you out on a long journey and leave you a bit lost... The emotions of Nightwish can do that, on occasion. Congratulations. You are now a Nightwish veteran. Thrive on bits of The Unexpected in the midst of Excellence. I apologize if my interpretation was in error, or if it seems odd. This was a day off, and I felt the need to do what I am trained (and have trained others) to do. But after all, it is a reaction channel... so emotions, interest, education, and satisfaction are part of what these reactions provide to those of us on the viewing end. So yeah, if you ever wondered what people were thinking about your reactions, that is my answer. ... btw, I'm not a member of the NWA. They are a much more normal lot, lol.
Its just amazing that despite that Wacken crowd being 82000 strong, they could have filled it at least 10 times over with people who wish they had been there! Top reaction by the way.
If I am not mistaken I can see that you're wearing a Pink Floyd t-shirt. Nightwish did a Pink Floyd tribute to their song High Hopes a while back. Like 2005. "From the End of an era" consert. Please react to that. That might be a surprise for you.
As to your security question. I worked what is called front of house at concerts(for 30 years). Most stages have an exit both sides of the stage. The front crew has many roles, mostly you just see them team up and pull a crowd surfer from the front of the barriers. They will then direct them to the side. Other staff will direct them around the barrier to an exit point where they can rejoin the crowd(there is usually a first aid station here, just in case, before allowing them to re-enter the crowd), to hopefully find their way back to their friends. Minor, but important jobs are handing out water and general safety of the crowd, they sometimes climb the barriers to rescue people in trouble & carry them to safety. Some bands we will only have 7 people, other bands we can have up to 15 people to handle the load(max size I have done is 35,000, this crowd was 82,000).
Another great one…Floor can sing anything, as I think you’re discovering. You’ll come to find that no two of their songs really sound alike, but they’re all great. Nice t-shirt, by the way. :)
the Netherlands have something in the water that creates such great female singers Floor Nightwish, Simone of Epica, OG3ne (Oh Jean) to name a couple I remember when Og3ne won The voice of Holland their Harmonies are unbeatable

But in the same time I am jealous, because you can have that experience only once in your life, and I would love to have that feeling again. But it is gone forever...
I love the operatic element that Floor brings to Nightwish music. It is a joyous celebration with all of humanity. The crowd surfer work their way to the front and then start all over again. After a quick bathroom visit. which may be the ultimate goal of crowd surfing? Well done Pandora the Virgo. It is a long list. Hope to see you again very soon. Be well.

Agree entirely with Marshall - dozens (or more) phoney reactions on RUclips. Some are just dumb - others are frankly an insult to the intelligence. Instead of the thums up or down buttons I wish there was a symbol for "please go away & grow up"
I hear you Marshall. There are clearly many reactors that are all about the numbers with a focus on either $$$ or enhancing their own self worth through likes and subs. Just like most of the face book and social media nerds. However, remember that as difficult as it is to watch these bad actors it still helps to promote our favorite band and probably will garner new fans for the Nightwish army. Just click the like button and move on to move honest reactors. It may keep them reacting to NIghtwish and their promotion of the band? I am not sure where you reside, but in America there is a great need to promote Nightwish among the musically deprived masses. Remember the statement by Phineas T. Barnum, the 19th century American showman and circus owner. 'There's no such thing as bad publicity' Getting media and public attention is always a good thing, even if the coverage/reactor is fake, negative, or unflattering. I know you're disappointed about that bad review, but keep in mind that no publicity is bad publicity-now, more people know who you are!
@@Thorgrim247 Gladly it's relatively easy to spot those "phony" ones, especially fake "First time" reactors, with Nightwish. If you are listening/watching Nightwish videos for the first time ever you'll never know what's behind the corner during the song, so to say.

You have scratched just a tip of an ice mountain. Welcome to the Nightwish world (rabbit hole), you never get out haha. Every song is your favourite one. I got stuck this rabbit hole 1996 and never got out. Don't want to get out 🤘
Great reaction! Can't wait to go down the rabbit hole with you. So much fun! I noticed your t-shirt. It figures you're a Pink Floyd fan - you might enjoy Nightwish's cover of "High Hopes". Virgo, eh? That makes sense! :) Oh, and thanks for checking out Aurora. Greetings from sunny Mexico!
Welcome back to your Nightwish journey. It’s one worth taking. Their songs are all different. They will continue to surprise you and not disappoint. They can go quite heavy, as you will soon see with Romanticide, and go a little bit softer. Enjoy!
Greetings from 'across the ditch' mate. I only found out about the band this year when Marko resigned. Been binging ever since and am slowly learning a few songs on bass... Have a good week. Cheers/chur if you prefer ;)
Catchy tune, catchy chorus, right Pandora? Nicely done. Lovely to watch you 😻... Reacting!!! LoL 😜 Warmest Greetings from the freeeeeezing Finland 🥶 🇫🇮, the Mother Land of Nightwish 🤟😎
Follow the list, journey the path...we will come with you! Each song is better than the last! You have so much yet to discover, I can't wait to watch your reactions! Greetings from fellow Virgo, California, USA
Well the surfers are leaded to a side entrance to the crowd from the security guys. About the 'loosing your friends' part ... Let me give you a small but very useful advice! When you go to a big rock or metal concert like this you NEED to set up an appointment with your friends before the show. For example...if we loose eachother for any reason meet me in front of the sound tower (or the bar, the toilets, the merchandise, the left speakers etc) after the show. Even if you don't crowd surf it's really easy to get lost among 80.000 people 😅 Greetings from Nightwish army Greece department 🇬🇷
if these songs are not alredy in your list i suggest you 4 of the band's most powerful performances: "shudder before the beautiful" and "7 days to the wolves" from the 2015 concert at the London Wembley Arena, "weak fantasy" from the 2015 concert in Tampere - Finland and last but not least "sahara" live in Tampa - Florida again in 2015
One thing you will learn about Nightwish is to expect the unexpected. Tuomas' music is somewhat like listening to Mozart, or any of the classical composers from hundreds of years ago! There are so many changes within a single theme...but these changes lead the listener down a path.that the composer has in mind for you!
I recognize you like Pink Floyd too. Nightwish did a tribute to that band by playing “High Hopes” halfway the “End of an Era” concert 2005 (the last concert together with their 1st female vocalist Tarja Turunen) Must watch.
Another one left smiling...I just wat h these reactions just to see that...the joy that is tranferred from the band to the spectators... That is Nightwish for me, they make me smile.....😀😀😀😁🤘
You Don't need to fool any lists. There is no right or wrong way to listen to Nightwish. We are not an army, there are no generals and we don't have a hive mind. You can listen to any song, in any order, from any year, any venue, with any singer.
I wanna marry this post above mine. ♥ Thanks, PlugInKali. Exactly my thoughts.Nice to meet a Nightwish fan. :) +25 years of history is A LOT of goodies.
No, there is no need to follow any list, but many people, myself included, enjoy having a list to follow - map from point A to point B. Others like yourself prefer to go their own way - going to and fro before arriving at the destination . As you say, there is no right or wrong way to listen to Nightwish.
yes, there's no Army, but it's fun (for me and others) to give a name to this feeling, this happiness and this group of great people, call it what you want, Gabriel is the "general" because he spends a lot of time welcoming people to the Nightwish music, and Martine is doing great bringing new people to meet the band, why we need more people to meet Nightwish?, because more people is more view, more plays in spotify, more people in the shows, Nightwish deserves it because of many years of hard work . Greetings from Colombia
Hey Pandora from NZ - greetings from Denmark. Gabriel's list is kind of unique and the links are all good - don't know that there is one similar for Epica (maybe I should pick up the idea) or Martine (I am sure she's somewhere in the comments below) probably know ;o)
great choice awesome song Floor Jansen is awesome another great song with Floor is with Epica on the song Sancta Terra where Floor teams up with Simone Simons they sound like 2 angels onstage also it's awesome with the orchestra and full choir backing the band. ruclips.net/video/cx22Yuj2nzg/видео.html
I'm in the same boat with you...I wish I had been there! I also wish I had a Tardis or were friends with Dr. Who, so I could go back in time and experience that!!!
@@PandoraPlaysMusic LOL, TARDIS would be just like a travelling restaurant. It does have a potentially infinite number of rooms in it, so I'm sure there's a proper kitchen(s) there somewhere!
more Epica ? try: "sancta terra - live retrospect" (feat Floor Jansen ;)) or "design your universe - live retrospect" or "consign to Oblivion - live at Zenith (Paris)"
Another great Nightwish reaction, all good with the list..........but live dangerously........mix up the order :D You don't here much about Nightwish here in NZ.
It was hard to tell but I think you were wearing a Pink Floyd T shirt. If you like Pink Floyd then check out the Nightwish cover of High Hopes. Greetings from your bro across the water in Australia. 🇳🇿
If we drill through Earth we Dutchmen will end up in New Zealand. So we have a bond (besides the name of one of our provinces). And if this Corona keeps on going we'll have to dig the tunnel. Great reaction. Our metal queens rule supreme !
This concert was magic. I just found you and subscribed. But I have been a fan of Nightwish since covid started. They have so much music to explore your gonna love it 😊. Another Vocal powerhouse is Britney Slays from Unleash the Archers check out Awakening, Test Your Metal, and Tonight We Ride for starters. The Albums Apex And Abyss tell one story that Brittney wrote and these awesome band members wrote the music to fit her story line that earned them a Juno Award in Canada this year. 😃 rock on.
Nightwish is a journey, and you will never say this sounds just like that other song. Most bands have a generic sound they find and yep that is us, not Nightwish. Every song is a crafted work of art, most are uplifting and happy. Floor is not human, as much as she tries to convince herself and us otherwise, no other human has such a mastery over their voice and the ability to push any emotion she desires into the listener. Nice reaction.
Hey, you should definitely check out Nightwish scaretale with Annette Olzen live show and official video and live show with Floor Jansen in 2012, awesome thanks requesting 😎
I agree Scare Tale is Annettes song for sure 😃 each NW singers have been great and have their own niche during their time in the band. To me Floor just took it to a whole other level. 😊
Can’t go wrong with floor ; I know I will be drawn and quartered for this but I’d love to see Floor go solo and be with the historical one namers but Metal as hell ; Beyoncé , Madonna , Dolly Liberace and FLOOR ! Imagine going to a show and hearing her growl, sing an Aria , gospel , blues whatever music has ever exsisted !
One mild 'mastering' suggestion : Check your recording volume levels, with special attention to the higher frequencies (around 2 k and over) on the band (not your mike) Either the highs are saturating on recording, or they are getting boosted during the post-mix... one other possibility is that small very high frequency glitches in the digital recording/compression from YT are heterodyning with your recording or post-equipment. If you still have the separate files for the NW recording and your reaction, try listening to them in the PRE-mix setting... if you hear the same 'tinkling of a thousand dying smoke detectors' in the background, then you've found the source (I'm pretty sure they are being triggered by the playback of the cymbals, but I want to leave a bit of the sleuthing for you). You might be able to get rid of the noise by either recording at a different (lower) level, running a low-pass-filter on it, or perhaps there are some controls for rejecting high frequencies on your mixing software... it's pretty hard to get more detailed without knowing your recording/post setup. Just a thought.
Thank you! You're absolutely right, I'm still learning how to find the right ratio. My voice still disappears when I scream in terror in a game. Lol The main problem for the Reactions is that I'm guessing since I'm going in blind, but.. I'll base my next recording on a previous song, that should help:) Thank you! ❤️
Most songs of Nightwish are about Tuomas (composer on keyboards) . In this case about his fear of losing his innocence while growing up. This is a recurring theme in Tuomas' writing. This particular song is not for me. Especially the first part of the song doesn't grab me. I had tickets to NW next Friday in Antwerp, however the concert was cancelled to to Corona regulations imposed in Belgium last Friday. 😭😱 Now it is postponed to........November.

Greetings from 'across the ditch' mate. I only found out about the band this year when Marko resigned. Been binging ever since and am slowly learning a few songs on bass... Have a good week. Cheers/chur if you prefer ;)
My Queen summoned me!
love the band very much. seeing it live 2 times
Catchy tune, catchy chorus, right Pandora?
Nicely done. Lovely to watch you 😻... Reacting!!! LoL 😜
Warmest Greetings from the freeeeeezing Finland 🥶 🇫🇮, the Mother Land of Nightwish 🤟😎
Welcome to our world! Liked and subbed. With love from NW army South Africa 🇿🇦
Follow the list, journey the path...we will come with you! Each song is better than the last! You have so much yet to discover, I can't wait to watch your reactions! Greetings from fellow Virgo, California, USA
Good choice to follow the list...
Even if you don't crowd surf it's really easy to get lost among 80.000 people 😅
Greetings from Nightwish army Greece department 🇬🇷
if these songs are not alredy in your list i suggest you 4 of the band's most powerful performances: "shudder before the beautiful" and "7 days to the wolves" from the 2015 concert at the London Wembley Arena, "weak fantasy" from the 2015 concert in Tampere - Finland and last but not least "sahara" live in Tampa - Florida again in 2015
Don't see many reactors from NZ and I've watched a lot , I'm also from NZ , keep up content coming.👍❤️
Notice the goosebumps on Tuomas his left arm at 3:31 🔥
It's up to you , it's you're channel 😃
Love you 😘😘😘
"I want to be there". Most people who know the band would give... much to have been at Wacken 2013.
One thing you will learn about Nightwish is to expect the unexpected. Tuomas' music is somewhat like listening to Mozart, or any of the classical composers from hundreds of years ago! There are so many changes within a single theme...but these changes lead the listener down a path.that the composer has in mind for you!
I couldn't agree more!
Thats all nothing!- Tuomas wrote some songs for her later on: Reactoion of her: Where do I have to breath!?- Tuomas: You'l make it girl.
I think that some of the crowdsurfers are going to toilet and they never come back. 😩😅
They seem to vanish into the twilight zone lol
Girl u need more likes! Come on Nightwish army let's show this girl some love!!!!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘👎
You are missing the point, it's all in fun. Relax.
No, there is no need to follow any list, but many people, myself included, enjoy having a list to follow - map from point A to point B. Others like yourself prefer to go their own way - going to and fro before arriving at the destination . As you say, there is no right or wrong way to listen to Nightwish.
👍
yes, there's no Army, but it's fun (for me and others) to give a name to this feeling, this happiness and this group of great people, call it what you want, Gabriel is the "general" because he spends a lot of time welcoming people to the Nightwish music, and Martine is doing great bringing new people to meet the band, why we need more people to meet Nightwish?, because more people is more view, more plays in spotify, more people in the shows, Nightwish deserves it because of many years of hard work . Greetings from Colombia
Please reaction sabaton Christmas truce 🙏🙏🙏
Hi, the people go often to a medic´s tent, because they are dehydrated or have problems with blood pressure etc. Sty safe and sound, German greetings
Floors voice is an angel, so glad you liked the video. Check out Ever Dream, Noise and The Poet and the Pendulum. Loved the reaction.
Great reaction, new sub
floorgasm
I'm in the same boat with you...I wish I had been there! I also wish I had a Tardis or were friends with Dr. Who, so I could go back in time and experience that!!!
Don't get me started on that! lol I'd use the TARDIS like an UBER! ahahah
Another great Nightwish reaction, all good with the list..........but live dangerously........mix up the order :D
You don't here much about Nightwish here in NZ.
See you soon ;)
might be a while till we see Nightwish back down under :( let's hope it does happen though :D
Oh! Oh! Have you done "Akin Ka Na Lang" by Morissette Amon yet? Use subtitles. Really good singer. :)
I don't understand why no Reactors are uploading the opening song of Wacken; Dark Chest Of Wonders. That song is at least 180bpm and that's FAST!
You have to go to Wacken open air, and enjoy🇸🇪
Can’t go wrong with floor ; I know I will be drawn and quartered for this but I’d love to see Floor go solo and be with the historical one namers but Metal as hell ; Beyoncé , Madonna , Dolly Liberace and FLOOR !
Imagine going to a show and hearing her growl, sing an Aria , gospel , blues whatever music has ever exsisted !
I see you like Pink Floyd....React to Nightwish Tribute to PF *High Hopes* ! (Suprice for you) ;)
(Markogasm)
Hint, we Nightwish & The Warning fans also listen to Aurora : ruclips.net/video/AmTiqR2_VAw/видео.html
One mild 'mastering' suggestion : Check your recording volume levels, with special attention to the higher frequencies (around 2 k and over) on the band (not your mike)
Either the highs are saturating on recording, or they are getting boosted during the post-mix... one other possibility is that small very high frequency glitches in the digital recording/compression from YT are heterodyning with your recording or post-equipment.
Lol
The main problem for the Reactions is that I'm guessing since I'm going in blind, but.. I'll base my next recording on a previous song, that should help:)
Thank you!
:( aw I'm sorry
🤘💝🖤🖤🖤💝🤘
Try within temptation 1 time like memories or angles
😁😁😁😁😁😁🤘
They just cancelled their Monday SSE Atena tour on Monday sad times
That sucks!
WE WERE HERE
at SSEbut no Floor or Nightwish
Or perhaps newer stuff like entertain you or the purge
