For some reason, Gentaro was excited and rampaged from the morning on this day.
As Gentaro attacks Genki many times, Momotaro finally scolds Gentaro and protects Genki.
Gentaro sometimes has such a day, but such a state is rare from the morning.

⭐️モモタロウ Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
momotaro was born at Ueno zoo in Tokyo on jul.3,2000 and came to our zoo on Oct.18,2010.
He is beautiful and handsome ,the silverback of our troop.
He is a little timid,and scared of new things.
He sometimes shows lovely behaviors that melt our hearts.
He is making efforts to be a good dad for his two sons.
⭐️ゲンキ Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Genki was born at our zoo on Jun,24,1986.
After mating with several males without a pregnancy she found her perfect partner Momotaro.
Now she is a loving and caring mom for her two sons.
She sometimes behaves boldly,yet she can also be sensitive.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️ゲンタロウ Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at our zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
Everyone immediately agrees that he is a very adorable boy.
⭐️キンタロウ Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at our zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.
He love to play by himself,with his father.
He is still small, but smart and strong-willed.
His cute appearance and behavior attract everyone's interest.

モモタロウパパは、ママさん達の様子をみて助けに入る感じですね😌すぐ助けろと思う方もいるでしょうが、このやり方がモモタロウ家族なのでしょう。でも、モモタロウパパ普段穏やかで優しいから本気で怒ったらやばいことになりそうです。しかし、モモタロウパパの目優しい目してるし可愛い❤️

Naughty Gentaro. Not sure if this is attention seeking or him trying to exert his authority towards his mother. Genki has patience most of the time but glad Momotaro is there to keep an eye on him.
I think he just wants her attention too . Because she's normally very chill and relaxed and doesn't play rough with them ever. I wonder is she's sick or pregnant??

Genki é muito dócil ! Gentaro está crescendo e há momentos que fica rebelde com a mãe, ou está apenas querendo atenção. Momotaro também é muito dócil e quieto. Shabani é mais rigoroso com a família, esse comportamento de Gentaro na tropa do Shabani já teria sido corrigido. Momotaro é muito tranquilo nesse sentido. Raramente ele fica muito bravo.

Aww, Gentaro had a bad day, acting out. All those surging teenage hormones. Love that Genki fought back, but sad she had to deal with her rambunctious teenager. Hopefully, she has no wounds. Even Kintaro seemed to join in chasing down his his brother at one point. Momotaro stayed on high alert, checking Gentaro constantly. If Gentaro had hit Momotaro with that large branch he likely would have been severely injured. Looks like everything calmed down eventually.

It's coming to a point where Gentaro needs a female gorilla. I believe that's why he at times targets Genki. I'm not an expert but it seems to be he clearly is at the age of needing a mate to mate with. Also he clearly is showing dominance, however I do believe he is a tad jealous of kintaro and genkis closeness. I cannot wait for Gentaros journey to being moved with another female gorilla to start his own family. I hope they started figuring it out. For the sake of Genki, she has already dealt with so much bullying. maybe introduce toys of some sort to keep his ass busy when he gets into these sort of moods.

Good heavens! Yep, I was saying about 2 months ago on the young male gorilla puberty hormone clock the current time is 11:59 p.m. At 12 o'clock definitely time for Gentaro to probably be separated from his family. This will be hard, and he will be missed by the entire troop. Looks like Gentaro is beginning to hit a growth surge. This is not a bad mood, but Gentaro is transforming from a black back to a silverback testing his limits and strength with dad, and trying to assert authority over mom Genki, which is typical behavior for a male gorilla 9-11 years of age. A rapid growth spurt and muscle mass will begin during male gorilla puberty. Gentaro's sagittal crest head bump seems to be getter gradually bigger, and he is way stronger now. Can anyone say raging hormones?! Poor Genki (3:59, 4:19). It happens, mother nature's a calling Gentaro. Ay...Momo had scolded him several times (4:35, 4:45, 4:55, 5:06, 5:21 😅)and Gentaro is still testing his dad surging ahead at full speed...oh boy. Momo and Genki are getting a workout no doubt! Even my little baby Kintaro was trying to help 🤣. Obviously from the looks of Momotaro's face (5:38) he understands, but another scolding is not far off in the horizon. Genki girl you sure are a patient loving 💙 mother! Nevertheless, I will always love that mischievous Gentaro face (6:48) though, and look forward to what Gentaro's children will look like. He is gonna be a beautiful silverback and wonderful father! 👍

I wonder if it is time for Gentaro to move on to live with other bachelor males. It would give him someone other than his poor mother to spar with.
I also wonder if the level of tension in this family is related to the size of the enclosure, it seems rather small and lacking in stimulation for such intelligent creatures.

He is very smart and loves action.
I believe he loves his mom and just likes getting her attention. That's fun/funny to him. Gentaro knows she can't caught him and even if she did he wouldn't get a beat down like Momotaro would give him.
Do something with Gentaro and Kentaro that will add life meaning to their Zoo life, teach some communication skills, more games/computer something.
I think both the children are go candidates and deserve more human enteraction seeing they are caged animals, I mean they don't live in their natural habitat or live as they would in the wild. I know they are probably safer in the Zoo or Private/monitored areas because of pouches and other things. I saw Kentaro day dreaming his eyes were wide one staring in space. I wondered what was he thinking about then he just took off running.
Wow. What is up with Gentaro? Even Kintaro is out of sorts. He doesn't understand what is going on. He won't run around and play like usual. Just sticks close to mom. I don't like it when Gentaro targets his mother like this. I adore him but it's behavior like this that's going to earn him that one way ticket to another zoo to begin the next phase of his life. He can't be abusing his mother.

I love watching this channel. The individual behaviors are so different and interesting. I think Gentaro and Momotaro are showing how important good fathers are in a family. Young males especially need their influence.
