An unforgettable scene.
At first it seemed that Kintaro kissed Momotaro, and then Momotaro kissed Kintaro.
Gentaro watching it up close was also cute.
⚠️In the cold season, the gorillas spend less time outside, so I can shoot less time.

⭐️モモタロウ Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
momotaro was born at Ueno zoo in Tokyo on jul.3,2000 and came to our zoo on Oct.18,2010.
He is beautiful and handsome ,the silverback of our troop.
He is a little timid,and scared of new things.
He sometimes shows lovely behaviors that melt our hearts.
He is making efforts to be a good dad for his two sons.
⭐️ゲンキ Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Genki was born at our zoo on Jun,24,1986.
After mating with several males without a pregnancy she found her perfect partner Momotaro.
Now she is a loving and caring mom for her two sons.
She sometimes behaves boldly,yet she can also be sensitive.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️ゲンタロウ Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at our zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
Everyone immediately agrees that he is a very adorable boy.
⭐️キンタロウ Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at our zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.
He love to play by himself,with his father.
He is still small, but smart and strong-willed.
His cute appearance and behavior attract everyone's interest.

I always loved how Momotaro would lay down to get closer to Kintaro's level, as if he new he'd be less intimidating to the baby gorilla.
The interaction between Momotaro and his baby boy is wonderful and adorable. The difference of their bodies size adds also a great amount of cuteness.😊😍

Momotaro is just an extraordinary silverback! He is so extraordinarily gentle. Kintarois so young here and Genki so protective. This is my favourite gorilla family and watching them has given me great joy during lockdowns and this challenging time the world is facing.

It was refreshing to see baby Kintaro's precious moments with his dad. I don't know if Genki watched them kiss each other. Gentaro enjoyed playing with his brother, but Genki was no you ain't. Beautiful to see how animals are so affectionate to their babies, but today's parents seem to love more their phones.❤
It is so amazing just how gentle these silverbacks are with their babies,It is probably the most beautiful thing I have ever seen ❤️

Wow! Thank you for sharing this with us. Tiny Kintaro playing with his huge papa is so heart warming. Genki pulling Kintaro away saying "no no" Kintaro don't bother papa while he is resting. Kintaro is determined to play with papa though. Gentaro swinging around on the rope is adorable also. Kintaro riding on mama's back is fun to watch also. Mama Genki is always close by monitoring Kintaro ready to snatch him away from papa and Gentaro. Lol!

His mother is very protective. The baby didnt have the chance to play with his older brother. Their father is so gentle.
Oh he will get many chances to play. Genki is just afraid they will take Kintaro away from her like they Gentaro when he was a baby.
The boys were left to babysit and they looked as though they really enjoyed it. Gentaro loves his brother and Momotaro looks smitten. Kintaro hasn't changed he still loves to explore.

Dad seems to be very close and careful with kintaro. I wonder if he was the same with gentaro at that age? That baby is definitely a daddy’s boy lol !

I don't think Genki was pulling Kintaro away from Momotaro. I think she was pulling him away from Gentaro who is too rough with baby Kintaro. So precious to see Kintaro kissing Momotaro. So so precious! And to see Momo kiss Kinny!

Genki allows Gentaro to play with Kintaro just a little bit at first increasing the time as she trusts him more, stopping the interactions if she feels he’s not being gentle enough-training him. Genki is an amazing mom🥰

Какая умница Генки, постоянно контролирует ситуацию! Малыш замечательный, видно, что тянется к папе! Ну и папа не против общения с малышом! Мне кажется, что Кинтаро, хоть ещё и маленький, но уж очень умный, как говорится, не по годам! И папа с умилением за ним наблюдает!
Папаша его в другом видео очень нежно пальцами гладил,а мама выхватила за ногу мелкого и к себе подтащила))))
It's funny how at this point Kintaro's whole body is smaller than Momo's head. Imagine having a baby that wasn't as big as your head.

Beautiful video, one of my favorites! I had 3 favorite scenes. The first starting @ 3:55 when Gentaro closely observes Kintaro & Momotaro interacting. The second @ 6:30 when Gentaro was playing with Kintaro. & finally when Gentaro was twirling around the rope & then rolled down the hill. What a character!

I love watching these older videos of Momotaro and Kintaro. These were such special moments when dad was getting to know his son ♥️. I miss the days when Gentaro still had his baby fat body...He was so short and round back then!
