Love this model. Searched for a good model i could purchase but couldn’t find a model i felt comfortable. Bought a explorer instead. But this one still lingers in my mind.
IMHO that''s the most handsome luxury watch on the market. I recently bid for one on eBay, won it at a very good price, and then was informed that the seller's account had been hacked and the transaction was nullified. Breaks my heart.
I have just picked up a 2021 registered watch, triple boxed with pouch ( including both straps which are both unworn, tool and even the spring bars) and all papers and cards. I cannot say are pleased I am with the watch.
Congrats on the addition. I own the Trilogy Railmaster and hope to collect the more popular siblings. The recent $3.4M sale of the original Speedmaster speaks to the desirability and horological significance of Omega’s 1957 release. Hopefully, Omega will do the same for the Ranchero someday or, even better, the 1967 Seamaster 300. Btw, the water resistance of the Railmaster and Speedmaster is a convenient 60 meters (corresponding to the anniversary of the release), as neither has your screw down crown.
I think this OMEGA SEAMASTER 300 1957 Trilogy Limited Edition is a great watch. Also agree with your business case comparison with the latest Bond watch. Congrats on your purchase!
For $5k, you still got a great watch even if missing some items. You got the most important part which is the watch head on the bracelet. The rest you can buy later if you really want them. And, I'm sure you can find lots of nice aftermarket strap options to use with this one that won't cost nearly as much if you were to buy the full complete set. Definitely something you won't lose any sleep over. In fact, probably sleeping really nice knowing you got this watch for $5k. And, I do really like the 57 Speedmaster, too. May be my fave of the trilogy and of all Speedmasters. But, I'm never going to spend $10k+ on one. I'm ok talking about and dreaming about it.
Congrats on a killer addition to your collection. I own a 1961 speedmaster and this would sit beside the speedmaster in my collection, very nice indeed 👍
I also love this watch, particularly the 39mm case diameter. I also want a Omega as a my one Swiss Timepiece. I tried on 38mm AquaTerra (Silver Dial) Gorgeous Watch! and the 300 Heritage. Dollar for dollar, I believe the 300 Heritage is the best watch for the money. Yeah the lollipop seconds hand is off but it gives the watch character. Tapered Bracelet is fantastic. We all agree that the HE Valve throws the balance at of wack.
Beautiful!! Congratulations! I just bought the NTTD actually. It's quickly becoming my favorite. The standard SMP bracelet and heft don't work for me. Enjoy your new watch!
Congratulations! My absolute favorite Omega. I really appreciate your honesty in pointing out the negative aspects that you don't like about the watch. Glad I'm not alone in my hatred of the lollipop seconds hand on the new version...i t just looks so wrong!
Right decision Chris… would have been nice to have the extras but do they really make the watch “the watch”… no they don’t… love the recreation of the original 57… definitely a keeper!
I’ve seen that the Forstner flat link (and I assume President 1450) for the Speedmaster FoIS may fit this by the way. An alternative tapering bracelet which would also allow for preservation of the original bracelet?
Congratulations on your new watch! Beautiful piece. I must say I just cannot get used to obvious faux patina…I try hard because some interesting watches use it ….but I just can’t pull the trigger for those fake old radium colors. I think Tudor got it right with the very lightly fake luminescent material they use on the P01.
I do like this watch and would be the choice among your 3 options but I am not so sure if it's a keeper. I'd still prefer the 2254.50 even over the new bond watch. My next Omega could be the Globemaster as it is more luxurious yet can be an everyday watch. This seamaster could be more a casual choice if the budget allows it.
I recently sold a watch that went through the authentication process and there are codes and such that you have to add to the shipping details. It definitely went to Ohio and I believe the attention was to a Will Choi.
Congratulations, beautiful watch, I really like the titanium version and probably going to buy one! It’s definitely a more unique and versatile watch that the Planet Ocean that you sold! Enjoy it!
Congrats! Great capture. Got myself the Seamaster Railmaster 1957 only a couple of days ago and I am loving it👌 came full set except for the nato strap and the buckle on the leather strap but the watch looks like it’s been hardly worn. Cost me under $4k 😊
I hope not! Right now I'm loving it. But you never know.. hope you are doing well. By the way would you want to come on my live stream channel? I know we like alot of the same watches
Congrat on your new watch! I owned this seamaster 300 1957 and the previous version of the seamaster heritage and I shared the same thoughts as you on these watches. If the lollipop second hand bother you, have you not consider the previous seamaster heritage which come with arrow second hand? I don’t quite like the straight bracelet and wonder does the new tapered bracelet will fit the previous seamaster heritage? If it fit, I may consider getting the tapered bracelet from omega.
Omega makes watches that tick off all by boxes, … size, style, brand. This seamaster and the blue globe master should be the perfect watch for me … and yet … I have no interest in them. Why I wonder?
Have had this watch for the past 2 years and gets the most wear in my collection. Love it!

The most beautiful Omega out there... makes a huge difference in hand, pictures don't do justice

Congratulations! I love this watch. I really like the 2021 version as well, but this one might edge that. It's near perfect.

Curious how you are feeling about it 1 year later... Would love to hear if it is still with you and your thoughts on long term ownership!
You made the right purchase
Nice choice. Saw that watch on watch finder. Fell in love right away. Would love the trilogy

Sweet acquisition Chris. I think you made an excellent choice AND got a great deal at $5K. Wear it in Good Health Sir!-👌🏽

Fantastic decision Sir! A keeper for sure!
Beautiful watch, really love it. One of the best seamaster version or even the best. Congrats Chris
IDGUY has this same watch. I really like it !
That's beautiful. I'd love to have one of these. Congratulations. (I concur that the lollipop at the tip of the other one absolutely ruins it.)

Just bought one yesterday
I have this watch, it's the last one I've bought... And I'm already selling everything I have, I don't need any other watch. This is the one ))
One of the best review..!! Thank you

Damn, some of you people just have tons of disposable income. Must be nice.
