Nice looking map, I used the Milton Bradley AA guns, painting to match but leaving the "gun barrel" white, just that little bit of white really helps them stand out...here i am
I haven’t played TripleA for a long time. My understanding is that there is a map for the Anniversary Edition uploaded into the program, but it is not easy to find, like it has an odd file name or something like that. That was what I was told, but I haven’t used it. Sorry I am not more helpful!
@@LakesideGamers5 Yes, thank you. There are several with different rules, but the original is world_war_ii_v3-master and it is played daily. I am only playing the 1942 second edition application and I would like to play that one, which is the only one I have played on a table.
That is a great idea! Thanks for sharing. I have a question: how are you guys dealing with the AA Gun when one power takes a territory with enemy AA Guns? Since they are taken and not destroyed. Thanks again!
Any time a unit is taken over that you don’t have a piece of that type for the capturing power, I would just put one of the control markers for the faction that captures the unit under the captured piece.
For me this is the best global version of A&A. China still just ??? and balance favors teh Axis but not hard at all to fix (bidds, startings etup, free units etc).
Just curious, do you play Axis and Allies Online? I think I've read that it's based on the 1942 version of Axis and Allies, but the 1942 edition seems like it's much less well liked by A&A fans than the anniversary edition., therefore I wonder of Axis & Allies Online is worth the (time) investment.
@@paulhamrick3943 yes, I do play online with friends. It is the 1942 map. It is convenient to be able to play a turn at a time on my phone and come back to it later. I like that aspect. Some people are critical of the dice rolls not always feeling completely random (sometimes you get multiple turns in a row of very high rolls, or snake eyes), but it is the only way that I can really play it consistently with life on the go. If you want to play on a computer, then check out TripleA before you spend any money. (triplea-game.org) That one is free and has many different versions of the game available.
@@georgem589 I have Europe 1940 (original print), 1941, and 1942 pieces mixed in together. I know 1940 had unique pieces for many of the units, and I know 1941 did some updates as well. It is likely the tanks you are referring to came from one of those. Agreed on the need for grey AA guns. The Italians don’t have separate AAA and artillery pieces in Europe 1940, so the grey AA guns serve as their AAA on my anniversary board. I guess just about anything could be used as a placeholder as long as the placeholder is unique, as Italy is the only country that would need it.
The IS-2 tank you see is the tank sculpt for the Allies in Axis and Allies 1941, be warned though it is not a very good version of the game. Pieces wise though it works like this, US, UK, and Russia all have the IS-2 tank but in their respective color. Axis get the Tiger tank for Germany and Japan, One cool thing I do like though is the allies Bomber is the Lancaster so if you want your Brits to have the more common bomber, it is there.
Links to Anniversary rulebook, setup, and National Objectives in video description.
I like this version, adding Italy is very nice and balances the game.

Thanks, good video, my friend. Will it be possible to play Axis and Allies Anniversary in Triple A ?

Online is ok at best, but the dice simulation is straight trash.
Where did you get the Russian tank model? Also, looks like you need some grey aa pieces.

Talking about tanks. Those Italians units look like brown panzers to me. Have never seen them in that color.
