I like that match, it's quite dynamic. It's started with losing a first base, but then you went out there and crashed the main enemy base. Match had some interesting sacrifices, opponent definitely liked to use special units. This is why I like RTS, the game could go whatever it would go, especially on 1vs1. Two sides set on the ultimate goal of knocking each other out of the table in terms of armies, recources and territories. Spreading like bacteria upon map and destroying another one expansions on the first sight for total conquer. The ending was cool - you stunned the whole cyborg squad and finished them without any losses. Too bad that the Error happened - I bet that was done by enemy engineer! Thanks for the upload!
Yes, ad for the first time in a long time (streamers) I saw a proper use of NOD subterranean units, albeit match could end much sooner, but nevertheless is good and for that thumbs up.
The soundtracks gave such an eerie vibe/atmosphere to everything, as intended, no doubt. Battles were fought in almost alien environment. Anyone heard of TEMPEST RISING? Frank Klepacki did the OST for it. Seems like a promising RTS that also looks retro enough. Definitely gives me Tib Sun vibes.
Mushroom party was an actual name for this map. Sadly it was removed once Vet.Bal.2.50 came out. Impressive to see some 2years old videos when I was playing back then yet never came across you.
Haven't seen a lot of details here, like some map features ("mushroom" trees, palm trees, sand-coloured dirt, red tiberium (>blue?)), seeing unselected unit ranks. How do you get these? Is it a multiplayer thing? Also, the classic cheese with sub+engineer, AND the green colour to top it off; got chills just from witnessing it again. People have no honour!
This is from the CnCnet version of Tiberian Sun. They made some fix & improvements to the game without changing much of the original. You can get it at cncnet.org/ and you can play with other players online as well on their server.
downloaded the game, its free nowdays.. also public beta 2.1 of ion shock mod.. i dont understand where i have to put the files, i copied all files to root dir... ionshockclient.exe works.. but im not getting to play ionshock mod at all, am i misunderstanding what the mod is.. ;s
i dont understand why shrroms that look like our usual shrroms... id rather see of the big phallic shrooms from when terrestrial plants and animals didnt evolve yet but i can get behind red tib. what difference does it have to green.blue tibs?

Why didn't you use repair machines? It is always necessary to attack with great forces! One detachment dies, another one stands nearby and does nothing?!
Thank you for the tips! My opponent was very good. I have to move faster to gain control of the center area of the map and don't have time to repair my units or spend the fund for the repair vehicle. I cannot attack with all my forces at the same time because they will get trapped by the EMP wave together. So I have to separate the team. The actual team will wait and attack after the 'dummy' team get EMP-ed first.
duuude why so slow to react with engs taking over your original base twice 😢 and then when you destroyed his cyborg commando instead of returning you should have pushed forward to destroy what he built there 😢
Hehe agreed! I'm actually new to the Tiberian Sun online play. Back in the day when I was a kid I only able to play it offline vs AI only. Just started playing TS online now 20 years later and currently learning the strats and tricks people uses against other real player.
34:10 unbelievable, you sit on so much cash and yet you have no army spam... that emp of yours there was way too late, and you should have warfacs everywhere by now, broo 35:30 brain exploded, you used up emp on sheer hope you stopped any harvesters right? RIGHT? because you had no army to push in just otherwise wasted emp. by the looks of it, he rage quitted, but honestly, either you two would be fighting this match till this day in 2023, or he would eventually starve you... like seriously, you survived engineer rush, and kept pressing him for most of the game... but your lack of macro, slow reaction speed, almost costed you this game. you basically gave up on red tib, you didn't produce more conyards, warfacs often sat idle 😢
