Play the upbeat duo on alternating even/odd turns, keep the double end of turn effect minion. Full hand every turn.
Staggered duos would be hecka pogged
Have the pirate that gives you +1+1 when you gain gold and 1 duo copy on each turn be from a ending unit like leeroy/mantid so you can keep a cycle slot for battle cries and gaining/spending gold

you want upbeat duos to be 3x the pirate that gains 3 gold, so you can get more duplicates
you gain 2 golden pirates, which sell for 12 gold total, plus 2 triple cards (1 gold each) that gives you 24 gold per turn to get dupes.
minimum you get +0 for the first pirate, +2 for the 2nd and third, +0 for the gold, +3 for the 3 after that and +1 for the gold, if I'm not mistaken in the order. that's 36/36 per turn to your whole board from the pirates and an extra +6/+6 from the 2nd copy of the flex slot, so +42/+42.
for comparison golden brann, 2x bagurgle and murkeye is 24/24,or with a full board (4 bagurgle, 2 murkeye), 48/48. that means we just need a single dupe per turn to be on par for scaling (and getting the build is way easier, as you basically just need 2 upbeat and a fireworks to start ).
a build without pirates (replacing the pirates with duo and fireworks, you get +60/+60 per turn (8 for the base cards, plus 2 for the golds, with an extra one 2/3 turns, so average 64/64), or +85/+85 if you go 4x firework, though you'll be weaker to venomous without the divine shields.
also you don't have to replace your initial duos, which is a bunch of stats.

Golden felbat, golden chromie and any other 5 demons are close to double of that... And that's been done plenty...
One can still have that on Arana and have a rag buddy and even have buffed the tavern in multiple ways for +600/+600 doing even less... But yeah that last I haven't been able to pull of
Edit: oh and in Arana you could have two golden felbats or more for a theoretical +1000/+1000

@@RobMedellin You are right of course, but this build is so easy to complete because they are 4-drops and the up-beat duo just gives you the triples... So the +245/+245 is still kinda ridiculous...

I'm curious how the interaction with Jandice hero power and duo would work. Does the duo keep the minions it imprints after it is swapped into shop? If so, every two turns you swap it, buy it back, imprint another minion, rinse and repeat. In theory you could fill your hand every two turns with just the duo.
You can do it every turn. It’s a battlecry so you would get the minions on alternating turns.

he tripled it early. if he hadn't, it probably would've been too slow without being golden to keep long enough to get it golden.
If you triple the duo, the golden unit remembers all the minions you selected with the regulars. Especially if you Brann it.

you should keep an upbeat duo in hand and play it on the off turn so you get a full hand every turn instead of every other turn.

so how does upbeat duo work with the card that triggers battlecries? or with murkeye? isnt that OP?
My assumption would be they would cause it to add another random minion since you can't target but it should still proc
murkeye is murloc only "At the end of your turn, the Murloc to the left of this triggers its Battlecry."

While it might select a random shop minion, a single duo seems like it would give up to 10 minions every turn with murkeye. If you buy out the shop you could guarantee it selecting your minions, though it would scale the murkeye enough that it'd be hard to cut that so it's still 2 slots.
If I remember correctly in the stream, dog tried to pair duo with the death rattle that triggers battlecries. It didn't work. Murkeye might not work with duo either

@@mihaipavel77That's presumably because "in combat" buffs aren't permanent. Murkeye triggers at the end of your turn, so he should give permanent buffs; have to test it out, of course.

Im just picturing this with a chargla comp with drakkari, 2 golden upbeat duos on alternating turns that are giving you a full hand of the battle cry blood gem buffer and having either high quality minions like cleave, or the deathrattle blood gem buffer and tidus
