With all the broken Gibson headstocks on your show, you'd think Gibson would use carbon fiber bars instead of walnut in their 5-pc necks. I'd glue that damn thing and play it till the frets wore off. Don't hate on handicapped guitars!
5 piece neck likely to be stable if its minor. If there is a good price drop i would keep it, but not for resale
I really enjoy the zodiac theme on that guitar. Wish I could buy it from GC but I'm one year late and I just spent my $$$ on a basic 2020 R9. Liked your playing. And you're right, that neck pick up is beautiful.
Does anyone else say the intro along with Trogly or is it just me
Hell yea its like a meme of its on lol
The grey and blue filter looks so much better than the green.

What a sweet les Paul🤓 I would love to have it. Do you think they will make anymore of them?
These could have been a cool "guitar if the month" thing. Have maybe 100 made in each flagship body shape with a different finish and 12th fret inlay on the day of that respective zodiac sign.
Second verse, same as the first…
Gibson’s COA = cracked on arrival!
🤣🤣🤣
the back of that thing is prettier than the front crack nonwithstanding
I'm sure you know, hide glue makes those breaks stronger than new, if you have the right person doing the repair. Id keep that and get the headstock fixed. That's a fantastic guitar
Yeah, but the crack is so subtle it would need to be broken even more to fix… and not disclosing it to a buyer would be really unethical.
Awesome tone for a heavy Les Paul. Think I heard some Black Sabbath sounds. Cool video🎸👍
The top looks really good when the green turns grey in front of the green screen
After mentioning that small comment about ESP he’s I would completely agree. They would do it better, especially ESP Japan. They have made some of the most beautiful guitars I’ve ever seen!! Wish you would have some of those on the show Austin!
For Normal Guitars it is Half off for Neck Breaks, For Collectors Editions where those wanting it will Want and Demand Perfection it will be a Push to get more then 50% of value, especially knowing one day may be spending for Neck Repair
the previous owner was the zodiac killer?
Mysteries of life #1,137: That time I saw a guitar with so many features that I normally dislike all-together on one guitar and for some inexplicable reason... I actually like it. A lot.
They can start doing seamless scarf joints and flatten out the headstock angle and that would solve the problem completely but the problem is all the boomers will get mad.
Okay zoomer. Us boomers have been asking for the neck angle to be fixed for decades.
I don't normally fall in love with these adventuress LPs, but MAN!
I really really love this one.
Bummer she was a beauty. Its top reminds me of a reverse argonavis burst. The similarities are there, this is just a bit more blinged out in abalone. Do they have other color zodiac runs??
@1:17....Napoleon Dynamite...Trogly, you just moved up a couple of notches on the cool meter!!!!
Nicest I have seen in awhile . I'm really digging blueberry bursts lately also
Surprised a multipiece maple neck would crack as easily as mahog. I like your 12-individual-guitars idea.
Should have made the top finish the color of the back of neck..... with block inlays made with the same material they used on this one ....
Woah that blue back is so vibrant!
That neck crack really sucks trogly, you should be compensated somehow for that. What if they offer to repair the brake?
The Spinal Tap Zodiac Costumes would go well with this one
Those fret board inlays are amazing what a shame. I would want one dam
Not my cup of tea with the color on the top, but still had nice tones.
I don't really get the term high end when taking a about Gibson or and branded pickups. How can they be higher end if all pickups are made the same broadly speaking.
I would have loved to see a Gemini SG or Les Paul with dual tone or color changing finish
What? Another Gibson with neck/problem? LOOOOOOL
Why oh why don’t Gibson redesign the neck joint?
I wish. That’s all I can say. Beautiful guitar. I don’t know why but this one has a different voice and vibe then a lot I’ve seen. Even with the heads trying to give. You are a lucky man to get your hands on it.
How come it didnt say gibson custom on the case
It's likely just a crack in the finish.
First my breath is taken away by the beauty of the Zodiac, then its taken away by the gut punch of yet another break.
I really like it.
Maybe it fell off a stand and hit a table....shame tho agreed.
But again im gonna say...ebony boards sound bright
The more I see of super zoomed in B-roll shots of these high end Gibsons, the more I appreciate my $730 Epiphone Les Paul Custom.
I guess you pay extra for the headstock crack…
Abalone was a song by Rocksy Music
I'm not a huge Gibson fan.. because I Really like 24 frets.. but this Guitar is Gorgeous.... especially with the crack beginning at headstock neck.. it's 5 piece. Maple with walnut strips... If I could (in my dreams) get this for under $1000. I might even be interested. But. Heck. I have well over ,20 Guitars now. ...so. It would be an impulse. Show piece
My Squire Jim Root Tele still doesn’t have a cracked headstock...just sayin
Yeah, coz it's a Tele. Fenders don't really break there (unless you're Pete Townsend or Kurt Cobain or something lol). Gibsons unfortunately do but they do other things that no other guitars can (unless they're a copy of course)
