I feel you man, I became a machinist so I can learn to do things like this, almost 6 years in, I got a Bridgeport mill as a gift and I still don’t even have a garage to set it up. But be patient man, it’s about the little steps. I had no skills with my hands other than turning a screw 5 years ago and now I make parts for airplanes. I’ve come a long way yet I still feel far from my goal. But you’re off to a great start tho, watching these videos are actually extremely helpful.

Do you have any ideas on the sping release and button system? Ballberring release or double friction spring or what?

I'm not sure I understand, do you normally use a milling machine? Either Way it turned out well.
