    Great to see fish on the ice again.
    One request I would like to make. When you guys do the spot on the spot or show the contour map to show how you are fishing certain conditions, that is extremely educational for me, and I would imagine to many others. If you can give us as much of that detail as possible, it would be a big help. Electronics are a fantastic tool, but learning how they relate to fish can be challenging.

    Great show James and Konnor I'm still waiting for safe ice here in northern Wisconsin. this 50 and 60 degree weather we just had didn't help. Thanks for sharing stay safe and tight lines.

    Looks like you guys dropped Tuned Up Custom Rods and went to 13 Fishing. I love 13 Fishing open water gear, but their ice reels and rods are on the low quality side. Could see the struggle you guys were having in the video not having those titanium recoil guides. The grass is not always greener on the other side even if they are willing to pay you more.

      It’s just a sponsor thing. Rapala/VMC/StrikeMaster which are huge sponsors of IDO purchased 49% of 13 Fishing. So they maybe didn’t have a choice. IMO the tickle sticks and snitch pro are not the best hard water rods regardless. I don’t know why they aren’t using the widow maker or archangel rods. Much better choices IMO

      @@jeremywhitcomb237 Because they are overprized and showing off cheaper models will boost 13f sales :D Bet they're fishing TUCR when the cameras are off... I would

    Moved to kentucky last year, still have all my ice gear *northern Illinois native* because the only thing I miss is icing a nice walleye or crappie in Wisconsin or Minnesota. Every time I watch these I question my decision to move south. Ice fishing die hard.

    • @thomas11327
      @thomas11327 Год назад

      Lol this isn't Scott's spot or anyone's spot. It's an early ice community hole. Drive by on the weekend and you'll see 5+ trucks with north dakota plates at the access point. One of the closest quality panfish spots to the FM area. I'm impressed that the lake still puts out quality fish because I've seen buckets of nice sunnies come out of there for years now.

      Rarely see people actively fishing here in the summer, at least that's how it feels when we are out on the pontoon....A few folks but they are usually after a different species.

    What happened to you guys. Why did you drop every good local sponsor you had? And why are you not doing as many episodes now?

    • @imperialpowers
      @imperialpowers Год назад +2

      It's all about the money. Whoever is willing to pay more for the sponsorship that's who they are going to pick. I have nothing against Humminbird and Eskimo because they make great products, but to drop Tuned Up Custom Rods and go 13 Fishing is such a downgrade for ice fishing. They make great open water gear, but for ice fishing they are low end and overrated.
