I love how these people that probably don't watch football or hate Tua because he was so good in college. It's takes a team to win but they love to put all the blame on Tua, ridiculous.
Has Trevor ever led the league in Passing yards? It’s easy to cherry pick. Don’t be that guy🤣
Foster was a beast in his prime Shady, that's close.
It’s simple. Pay the man.
Lawerance is only averaging 41.6m a year over the next 7 years. I am not sure why these guys who follow the sport don't know this.
Tua also may only be the highest paid qb for 20 seconds because of the other qb contracts coming up
How are the guys on a network talk show and don't have all their facts straight?? They've been bashing Trevor Lawrence even since before his new contract. They talk as if his contract is guaranteed money. No, Trevor Lawrence is incentive based and performance motivated. He's actually only making $40-$43 million per year, that puts him at 11th highest paid in the league. He doesn't see no $60+ million unless he balls out. GM knows what he's doing. These guys don't touch on that, and obviously don't watch a single Jaguar's game, they just see the final score and stats. Gardiner Minchew can't do what Trevor Lawrence can do, so yeah they may have similar numbers but Gardiner isn't asked to make the type of throws TLaw throws.
doesnt matter, he shouldn’t even have the incentives to make that much
@@bev1040 He absolutely should
@@blackanimelover18 absolutely not, hes shown no cause forr this in the nfl, baker mayfield deal maybe
He doesn't have all of the power but the closer they get to the season the more power he has.
Shady is on point
Show Has Really Improved Without "Eye Candy"
Tua has a way better resume and has been better but he's not a 50 million dollar QB much less 55-60.
The jaguars did the stupidest move in the NFL by giving Lawrence 50 a year the same way the giants made stupid move.
Tua is a 38-42 million dollar QB.
Should have a better resume. He is surrounded by great receivers. Tua does get hurt easily
Tua is 0-1 in the playoffs and plays awful against good teams. Trevor ain't it either but clearly is better than Tua especially late season
😂 Tua ain’t worth his jersey number
@@sprayer97 isn't the excuse for Trevor the same reason Tua isn't considered a top 10 QB.
Seems pretty biased on your part
@@Christopher._M trevor won a playoff game and doesn't completly fall apart as soon as the wheather hits below 80 or he plays against teams above 500. Aside from that they are both injury prone but Tua has better weapons and the better play caller while Trevor had to deal with Urban... not a a Trevor fan but i'd pay him 100x before i ruin my franchise by paying Tua
It's Nice hearing James say Joe over Lamar.
Any wr telling the truth would say that.
When you got the playmakers that Miami has you just need to get the ball in their hands and when it's like that you want the guy that's most accurate and thats who he is but trev might b a little better overall
NFL owners have the power, not the players.
Here we go again, blame McCarthy. No people blame the real problem, Jerry Jones. McCarthy didn't throw all the interceptions, Dak Prescott did. Maybe if Jerry Jones actually let McCarthy make some of the major decisions, like what players HE would like playing for him, things might be different. McCarthy did not pick the defensive guy he might have wanted to coach for him, Jerry did. Stop blaming McCarthy. Let Kansas City trying pulling that Bullsh.t with Andy Reid and see what would happen. Andy is a real coach that is in charge of his team. He decides who his players are and who his coaches are. McCarthy doesn't get to make those choices. Let him actually run the whole show for one year and then you can cry fire McCarthy. Not McCarthys' fault at all. Just the scapegoat for Jerry Jones bad decisions. Jerry empties the cash register on 3 players and gets no running back like someone the caliber of Derrick you know who and the cowboys remain one dimensional No power back. Blame Jerry, not McCarthy. Give him control first, then you can blame him.
I don't know about that in saying Trevor Lawrence get market value.
These guys make more money in 1 game then any of us make in a lifetime. Think about that for sec
Man, once they pay him, next year another QB becomes the highest paid... give him the money... don't be hung up on him being the highest paid... it's temporary. Remember when Tannehill was the highest paid for two or three months?!?
Tua has good stats but he is an average QB via the eye test. Good luck to Miami sen mgmt!
THIS SHOW IS A SCIPTED JOKE. EXACTLY ONE MONTH AGO LESEAN MCCOY WAS THROWING DIRT ON TUA. HE SAID WITH HIS OWN WORDS. DO YOU REMEMBER WHO TUA WAS BEFORE MIKE MCDANIELS BEFORE TYREEK HILL ETC. NOW HE SAYS TUA SHOULD BE THE HIGHEST PAYED. WOW. LOOK UP THE EPISODE FOR YOURSELVES. EXACTLY ONE MONTH AGO. JAJAJAJA C'MON MAN!
Im talking to u espn u guys 😂loll
these guys actually think T Law isnt better than Tua??
They're both overrated, for different reasons.
T-Law’s a better athlete, but one guy is 34-19 as a stater with better stats, and the other is 20-30 as a starter with stats that don’t measure up to Tua’s. Numbers don’t lie.
@@TONYT725 "numbers don't lie" is such an outdated expression. He's playing with Jalen Waddle and Tyreek Hill, under an offensive genius. He's only put up numbers and wins against bad teams, just like Prescott did last year.
The only way for a QB to truly live up to these contracts, is to win a SB. The only way that will ever happen for Tua, is for Miami to have home field advantage, and play a SB in a dome or warm climate. This last trip to KC summed up Tua and the dolphins perfectly. That's not even factoring in the injury history he has.
@@TONYT725 but you're a dolphins fan so what else can we expect you to say.
The main problem I have paying Tua the big contract is his health situation.
If there paying trevor mite aswell pay tua
They always say miami wanted to get rid of tua .. that coach got fired and miami has had a winning record ever since... so yeah
Miami had back to back winning records with that said fired coach. The first time in 20 years… Put some respect on Coach Flores name….
@oohdafunks1 he was garbage that's why he's not a hc anymore . The league agreed, dude isn't a leader
@@tsc7018 gainfully employed with a pending lawsuit against the NFL. DC for the Vikings… So you want to retract that statement? 🤷🏽♂️
Franchise tagging is bad for franchises if you're going to end up paying the guy in the long run just pay him now
Of course Tua has the power. He was in MVP conversations at some point. This is not even close. That Dave guy always comes up with excuses not to pay Black QBs, but for white QBs always justify their salaries.
Literally advocates for dak getting paid everytime he’s on the show
Dude be talking crazy Lawrence has a division title and a playoff win Tua has not.
What do you think Trevor's numbers would look like if he had Tyreek hill ?
10:47 should become a meme, that's hilarious
Paying tua anywhere over 50 is crazy
Spotty track record with health, exposed by cold. He's in a top 5 situation for a QB, and he's yet to do anything truly noteworthy with it. Some huge statistical games against bottom tier competition, just like Dak.
Paying Lawrence 55/ 200 guaranteed is even crazier.
i’m so tired of money talk can’t wait for the season
the rams have the best wide receiver core puka nacua and copper kupp both hold records for receiving 😂
Wasn’t Dave the same guy when Lawrence got his contract said pay these guys early it’s better in the long run because you can restructure the deal 😂😂 When Acho said to tag him now he’s saying the opposite for Tua 😂😂😂
Yeah and he said pay Tua as well, so what are you talking about?
@@blackanimelover18 yea but he mentioned the fact the could franchise tag him to, when he talked about lawrence & acho said to tag him and see what he looks like after another season then pay lawrence Dave said No and to pay him early then you can restructure his contract
Nobody seems to remember when the left hand Hawaiian quarterback went on a 8-1 run when they were trying to replace him with DeShaun Watson. Beating very credible teams and he did it on the road; in December! Year 2021! You play who you play period. Give us the hardest schedule; we'll give em 12 wins. Oh and the playoffs last year, the dolphins were destroyed by injuries! 8 starters! So please.. Take a seat, keep calm, and enjoy the show 🎯🥇😎🛣️
Dak went 13-2 his rookie year, look at how ppl view him.
Carson wentz 11-2 the year eagles won the SB, I think he's even in the league rn.
Tuas gonna prove a lot of people wrong this year yet again
@@brody6392what would Tua be without Hill and Waddle? Can’t pay everybody….so does that mean Hill is the odd man out? Will Tua be able to do it without Hill?
@@brody6392wdym again
Name the teams Tua beat that year... lol his lost came against a playoff team. He beat 8 team under 500 that year and missed the playoffs.
I’m just glad we got Tua and not Trevor Lawrence .. no offense but he’s just good at having long hair and throwing interceptions 💀
Tlaw won a playoff game.. with less on his team. Tua is just a spot thrower. I say play his fifth year out
Tua isn't that guy and never will be. In college he was surrounded by the best players. In Miami he started out with mediocre WR and it showed. Now he has elite WR's and still hasn't won anything.
I don’t think Shady ever liked this guy who’s standing in for Joy.
Put Trevor in the Dolphins offense and they’d be tremendously better
Tua is better than the guy that paints his nails 💅🏽 in Chicago 🎯
At this point let's just grant middle school qb to be in the nfl, because tua's arm screams middle school and everything about is just middle school
It's nice not having to listen to joy
so they’re saying since the Jags made a dumb decision Dolphins have no choice but to do the same.
Tua has definitely earned a pay day, ideally the Daniel jones type but it’s up to his agent to find more
The Dolphins should go for Dak Prescott
Acho, only a Sith speaks in absolutes.
🗣Bring Joy back, bring Joy back, bring Joy back!!!
I don’t wanna hear things acho has to say
Tlaw's contract is incentive base. He will not be fully guaranteed until 2027.. which jags can cut him.
Some dudes need to stop being paid "the highest" just because they're the next one up and get paid off what they've done so far, just my opinion
showing the stats when the dolphins are a much better team is funny; dolphins were expected to be in superbowl contention
