i don’t wear foundation and these work perfectly for me
I recently picked up Nude Burn and I had seen someone that said to use these preferably without a foundation underneath so it can give you a natural flush and all I did was a little concealer under the eyes and then layered the blush on top of primed skin and set it with powder and as of rn its holding up pretty well and its pretty lightweight perfect for summer!!!
same here!!
These actually worked really well for me! I didn't think they were splotchy, but I tend to use a heavy moisturizer so maybe that affects its formula. But I personally liked how light and sheer it was because it is easier to control.
I'm actually really excited about these because I like subtle blush and most everything is super pigmented on my uber pale skin.
Lol, same. That coral color would probably look really nice I think
I have the shade fushia spark and it really looks beautiful on my skin. I chose that one because I did not known if it was on the sheer side and I don't regret it at all. I'm going to buy more of them.
I just got this today in Rose Flush and I actually loved it. It's super light and natural on my skin.
Yes! It's worth the effort! Try it on bare skin under powder foundation. It's very longwearing and sweat resistant! Not sure a workout, but general sweating on a hot day, yes.
I wish I would've watched this before I bought mine. They are sheer and it takes a lot of product to build it up, in my opinion. Your foundation looks great, by the way!
I personally like the sheerness of the products haha I think maybe leaving the dab of product out to dry for a bit before putting it on might help? Gel products are usually sheer anyways great video!! I think I’m gonna get the “darkest” color
Thanks for the recommendation to use it on your lips! I was unhappy with it on my cheeks but now it’s not a total waste.
i've had 35 berry flame for over a year and LOVE it, just bought it again and now trying pink scorch. Will try them on the lips too!!
I still want to try them..they are so inexpensive i wont mind.
Love the layered swatches. They can be compared better. The peachy pink tone looks best for me
Coral Amber was so pretty, it's a shame that the formula wasn't better.
In the future I'd love it if you'd review the e.l.f. lip lacquer because they came out with a bunch of new shades.
Thank you for the quality swatches! I love seeing how they look layered up.
Personally I have a good medium skin tone and I purchased the color "Nude burn" and it shows up a lot on me. I apply it with my fingers, a beauty blender or a brush and its so pigmented I usually have to run a used beauty blender over my cheeks. I say that if you're having problems with it looking blotchy definitely go over it with a beauty blender. I love this product.
Since blush products have a short life span and because I don’t wear heavy makeups, I decided to get a cheaper, smaller, stable option which is this product. I bought the one that’s third from left. It’s really lightweight and sheer, which I prefer. I’ve bought an expensive powder from luxurious brand and I didn’t get to finish it even after five years. Since I read about expiration of the cheek blush products, I was determined to go for something like this.
I think personally since I'm fair in winter and fall, olive skin in spring and summer I would like number 10 in my fair moments and number 25 in my olive moments.
Plus I like no makeup looks.
I picked up one of these today, hoping it would be a great dupe for the glossier cloud paints. However I’ve found it too watery. It really doesn’t have much pay off at all and you feel like you really have to rub it into your skin otherwise it just feels wet on your face. Maybe I need to work with it more but first impressions I’m slightly disappointed. However the shades look gorgeous and the packaging is so cute💖💖💖💖
I found using a flat top foundation brush or a beauty blender work really well
Great review. Super helpful, and saved me a few bucks. There are too many other cream, stain, etc blush products at the drugstore.
Thanks, girlie🍃🌸
I notice alot of people saying its splotchy & not pigmented. I feel its for people who don't wear bases & just want a splash of natural colour on their face - like me. Foundation, primers and powders have started clogging my pores and making me break out so I've just been sticking with straight up skincare & SPF but miss that colour of life in my cheeks. I know its got negative reviews but I hope it works in the case of people who don't use bases.
Was looking for a good review before trying this product. Thank you for reviewing each.
Can you plz tell me if it is safe for oily acne prone skin?
I apply these on my cheeks with my fingers and I’m gonna have to pay attention because I don’t feel like I have a hard time with them. I typically do a dot to my cheek then rub it in. Sometimes I add a little more if I want more color.
I've tried it once and I've loved it since then!
I got fuchsia, and it's so long wearing. I apply it with a brush on bare skin and layer powder foundation on top. My skin is oily and the weather is humid and hot. I'm pretty happy this seems to be pretty sweat resistant. This looks like crap applied with fingers though
Thanks for the suggestions for oily skin. I also have oily skin and its very hot and humid where I live. I think I'm going to try the fuschia shade. Did you like it on the lips as well?
I had the same exact issue with this blush. This was the first gel liquid that I have tried and I was excited to try something other than powder blushes. I loved the way it looked at first even though it did not grab on to my high cheek area very well but as the day went on it looked worse , streaky patchy faded horrible so disappointed
Did you wear it under or over foundation?
I bought these because of a video comparing it to glossiers blush and it was so splotchy tried to put more on and it lifted the color and made it more splotchy
I've found the best way to use gel blushes is to mix just a dab of them on the back of your hand with a dot of foundation, bb cream or moisturizer. Haven't tried it with these, but when Clinique made the gel blushes, that's how I was able to blend the gel into a beautiful cream, which you can then apply to your cheek!
Great tip!
what a smart, clever tip....thank u
@@rhondabentley9694 Thank you! Happy to help!
@@allurabeauty Thank you!
@Vanessa Carlini Thank you!
I like shade number 15, 20, 30, 35
I'm so disappointed that these are so patchy. I love cream and liquid cheek products, and there are so few of them available at the drugstore. I hope they take the feedback and go back to the drawing board.
Rachel Makrucki I’ve never tried liquid or cream blush. I’m just worried I’ll waste my money. Can you recommend?
@@jenniferogormanarafa8920 not OP but the flower beauty blush bombs are great, the tiniest amount goes a long way
theyre not in drugstores but their prices are closer to drugstore than high end
Jennifer O'Gorman Arafa The Flower ones are great, IF you can find them.
I found 6 shades at my CVS in Dallas-Fort Worth about 2 or 3 weeks ago. In the regular disply, not a special seperate display or endcap.
I´m a 0.5 in the LÓreal perfect match foundation, and I´d be afraid to look like I could not apply blush. I was really interested in these, but I think I´ll pass. Thanks for this in depth demonstration and saving me money!
Sometimes I wonder how much time companies put into testing some products?
Same...
those are disappointing
really wish they performed better like the flower beauty blush bomb line bc itd be nice to be able to buy a gel blush in the drugstore
well now at least i wont waste my money
This is only nice if your make up is usually on the go, otherwise, powdered blush with brush always works.
I was most attracted to Rose Flush and Coral Ember. Thanks so much for the swatches and demo bc Coral Ember looks like it would be a major disappointment. Rose Flush does look nice. I like cream products for Winter but I'll most likely skip these.
Thanks for this review! I use the ELF small stippling brush for my cream blushes. I'll pass on these. My new love is the Rose Gold tinted balm from Lanolips; it's equally pretty on the lips and cheeks and really looks like a natural flush ❤️
Im hoping they are glossier dupe?
Aw man. Thanks for this video. Sad to hear these were splotchy. #20 looked good on swatches, did it perform better than the others?
For pigmented cheek creams, I quite like Flower Beauty Blush Bomb. Tiny grain amount goes a loooong way. I want to try Physician's Formula's, those look sheer and dewy.
I have the Pink Berry shade and it's so pretty! Blends nicely too 😊
@@musicalina230 thank you ✨
A dupe for glossier I suppose
So pretty!!!
I have 20 it is nice but it won’t blend sometimes
That video is really helpful for me i hope for others to
Acne skim can use it
Dang of course the two that I ordered are the ones that are acting patchy on you.
Nice nails!
Great video in detail
Excellent review 👌😎.
Thank you for the sheer swatches! :)
Please let us know what duo fiber brush you're using? Thanks! x.
Can you use this on your lips ?
I always do. Its ok!
just got it from walmart $6
Didn't work for me! They are so pachy!
They are beautiful really, but I don't think a brush is the best application. Fingers are best. Too sheer for brush.
Love em
lol "Nude Burn."
Which would you suggest for darker skin tones?
Malayja Browning honey you can rock any color 💅🏻
Malayja Browning I would go with the milani ones , these won’t show up on deeper skin
Nope, these are trash for us. Doesn’t show up at all
Malayja Browning I have 35 and 25 it’s light to medium coverage! I apply it with my fingers and it gives off a pretty natural look.
I like to lightly swipe it across my cheek then tap
Great content
