Thank you soooo much for this. This was honestly the missing piece I needed to really take my training to the next level. This video is literally my King Kai
@@MisterAcolytehey bro just wanted to say thank you for simplifying such an advantageous tool that to this day i still didn’t use properly, i would just set the comp at 100 and figured its better than nothing lol. So thank you bro.
I think the "Automatic" setting is not that bad :o Instead of binding a "play training dummy" button you can just use your "reset" button as the "play training dummy" button if you set "Automatic" to "Play". Everything else you showed can be done without the "play training dummy" button. That's why I think it's more of a preference and if you have enough space to bind all the buttons you need/want because button binding in trainings mode transfers directly to online matches. I can't tell you how often I forgot to rebind a button because of "record/play training dummy" and went into a match without a sparking or vanish button :D
that's a pretty roundabout way of starting a recording imo, I'm not sure why you wouldn't want a play button. It seems much more complicated and time consuming to reset position every time you want to play something back. Also you're not going to want to reset position in every simulated situation. As I said in the video, the point of automatic is to test round start options, however it's slightly delayed so I wouldn't put too much faith in it. As a preference though I suppose you could use it instead of simply having a play button, but to each their own!
@@MisterAcolyte but you already reset almost everytime befor you play recording, especially if you get hit. Why is it much more complicated and time consuming if it does play automatically, instead of me needing to press another button? And you can reset in the corners as well so I don't know why it's only for round start options. Everything else you showed can be done without the "play training dummy" button except SSJ4 non stop offense. So for me, who doesn't have any free buttons to bind, I can still play recordings and practice combos in between matches, just with the "reset position" button.
that's because you haven't recorded anything in those slots yet! Before you record, you have to manually change the slot you want it to record to! it defaults to 1!
I would say you need an actual anchor for your team! SSJ Goku/Vegeta should both be points Imo, bardock is a solid mid but you need an actual anchor character to bring your team synergy together! check out my team building guide when you get a chance!

veeery cool but what if i dont own their characters
It only shows me one recording slot and everything else is faded out.
that's because you haven't recorded anything in those slots yet! Before you record, you have to manually change the slot you want it to record to! it defaults to 1!
Is jumping the only thing that negates a command grab?
Not directly related, but how minus can a button be for you to dashblock on it?
personally i'd say -3! There's still enough time for you to buffer the dash comfortably. Any higher than that and I feel you're risking getting hit!
Aco what tips can you give me for my low tier team? Just wanna do the best i can
Ssj vegeta a
Bardock a
Ssj goku a
