So ... what’s the 0-60, the torque, is it real-wheel biased or still front? What’s the price? What’s the mileage trade off between this and a regular GLB? When will it arrive in the USA (or UK)? Does it drive like a seven seater SUV or a Porsche Macan? Did you ever slip when going up the twisty roads? I don’t feel like I got a lot from watching this video.
Anyone with a bit of knowledge on cars would know that the same car with 5 seat configuration and with 7 seat configuration is completely different in terms of leg room. Why would you show 2nd row in one car and 3rd in another?
It depend on how tall the person sit at the back. Smaller adult can survive at the 3rd row without pushing the second row all the way up. Ideally the 3rd is for kids or small adult. This is a mid size SUV with 3rd so can’t compare to those big suv with 3rd row.
None of which are based on a premium five-door hatchback and scaled accordingly. The cars listed above sit in a different sector of the market. Whether buyers care about that when it comes to buying, however, is another question.

They say it starts with a sticker price in the 30,000s but if you want it to be half way decent does that mean shelling out another 20 grand? The channels seem to only look at the AMG version, and I would like to see how a stock (or near stock) version actually looks like.
They need to do this, because of the other car manufactures, because of the price. You have People who buy Cupra Ateca with 300ps, Vw Tiguan R and others, so the Mercedes offers a similar car in this price range.

@@senorgato70 Not sure about that, wouldn't the GLA be more towards the the Q2, VW T-roc? Can't see how the GLA can compete with the XC40, Audi Q3 or the Evoque..
@@bdf9072 GLA as the name suggests, is the SUV version of the A class, as the Q3 is the SUV version of the A3. GLB is more practical, but not much larger, just the same when you compare the A class with B class. Mercedes doesn't have anything smaller, in the Q2, T-rock class.

The only rival with similar premium brand is the Land Rover Discovery Sport for this price range.

Amg was never high end. It was meant for power. U can get a barbus or a maybach if you can afford it.

D Jaquith maybach was a different brand yes but they’ve stopped production. You can only get a Mercedes-maybach now.

Third row seats are not for adults, So I would say this cars competition is the BMW X1 etc...
Note this is a seven-seat car with room in the third row for children or occasional adult use. The X1 cannot take more than five occupants.
Nope. This is in a segment of it's own. BMW had the 2 series Grand Tourer with 7 seats but that got discontinued

B. Faria well the true competitor for the models you mentioned is the GLA. The GLB is meant for a crowd that wants or needs more space
