- In this weeks episode I hike towards a river to setup camp in my Nortent Vern 1 PC (polycotton)
I brought my grayl with me to process water and not have to worry about waterborne pathogens.
I cook hot dogs on my trangia alcohol stove kit 27 & prepare for the cold and the rain to come.
Join me,
Grab a brew sit back & enjoy!

Hell yeah!! Finally someone who done keep names of his gear secret!!! That huge for me and others. And like always great vid Mate!! And that beautifull capping spot. Hard to find in UK. Cheers Mate and thanks for another caping/review vid!!!
@@borrgosh no worries mate. If there’s ever anything you want to know about just drop me a comment I’ll do my best to help. Yeah it is hard in the UK, best to not worry too much, worst will happen is be asked to move on. Take care bud
Camping by a creek is so nice. I do it up in the National Forests which are just a few miles on either side of my home. Nice times. Thanks for taking us along.
@@MrOldclunker no worries, thanks for joining me.
Your best vlog yet, really well put together. Maybe a list of the equipment you use or a review, as a suggestion.
Thanks mate. I have been thinking about talking more about what I’m using and listing in the description. Thanks for your support 👍

New subscriber here loving your channel and style.
What model table is that? I like it. And which is model is that telescopic light? Tempted to try a knock off from Temu for £30..
@@anonymous4201 the table is the fire maple dandelion table and the light is the mytrix telescopic lamp. I got them both from Amazon… if you ever want to know the gear I use check the description if you’re still unsure just drop me a comment mate. Thanks for your support 👍
@ cheers mate, will look out for the descriptions. Loving the channel, keep it up mate.
What’s your verdict on the telescopic light?
When’s your next trip and where? Looking forward to seeing the next adventure….
@ I prefer it to the outask (original) one. This one’s like an ambient lamp when it’s pushed down and then a directional light when pulled out. On the lowest setting (which is still bright) it lasts like 4 over night camps of being on for like 6hrs each time. It’s probably one of my favourite pieces of gear.
If u like using hot water bottles ridgemonkey have a brilliant one. Great video 👌🏻
@@alanburnside3543 thanks for the heads up I will take a look. 👍
Nice and peaceful pal. How do you like the Nortent has it been good in heavy rain cheers Ian
@@woodnugget1301 I love the Nortent. It’s been really good. Like any canvas it just needs wetting first for the fibres to swell up and then it’s good to go. All I did was go out in light rain the first time and now it’s brilliant. There’s just something about this tent I absolutely love. If they did this tent with a slightly bigger vestibule and a stone jack in I would buy straight away 😜
