Joel Kinnaman really does not get enough credit as RoboCop. He sadly will always get the short end of the stick because everyone will just compare him to Weller but I think he did a fine job making it his own. He nails the movement, I think he has a great voice, and I liked the swap up: how he goes from too human to robotic then goes back to human again overtime. I wish critics weren't so harsh on this one because I think Joel could have benefitted from sequels and become as iconic as Weller.

In the original movie, you could tell Alex's face was just surgically attached to Robo's head, so the brain wouldn't go insane from the idea of "loss of humanity". I assume Robo was like the terminator, with a metal skull or casing underneath. So even if he was shot in the exposed skin, it wouldnt damage anything underneath. Dont know if the remake works the same way, since you see inside his head when Alex asks to see whats left of him.

I love the horrific realisation of the Dr. when they only went on about how, well, *robotic* he is. "He." Poor Doc knows they've created a man-powered machine, not helped a machine-powered man come home.
The first moment of heartbreak for me was when his son didn't get a "Hey, bud" or a hi-five back before the public reveal. Pretty perfect.

Ya know, I remember people complaining about the sleek black and red suit and they were trying too hard to modernize Robocop and make him look cool. But, actually, it works perfectly because that's how the original Robocop looked for his time, made to look cool and imposing, a robot forged from chromed blue steel to patrol Detroit. Even the ED-209 was consciously designed more to look cool than actually function. So they took the heart of that idea - design it to look cool and marketable to the public - and applied it through a modern filter of what we like.

I do See Some have Individual Opinions on RoboCop's Upgraded Features, but I am always Open to New Things and I Think His Costume has a lot of Cool Digital Features!
The Story has a Substance that I Personally Like, but again, others do have Different Opinions of The Movie!
