I really find so much meaning in what u share Fr Dave. I just had a recent heart surgery last year Aug. 18 and I survived it and like you Fr Dave, I realized so many things about my life esp the bad ones which I hope I can still make up for.

I felt so sad when you told that when you visited your ailing mother and her face touches yours and kisses her,my tears fell Fr.Dave, because it brings back memories of my mother, whom I took care for 6 years in bed, kissing her and whisper in her ears my love for her, until her last breath at age 96. I felt your sadness,Fr.Dave,knowing her days are numbered and you are not on her side.
Your homily is countless fr. Dave, " your days are numbered but please value your days ,grow in wisdom" , dream it possible, so big that makes me think on and on. Thank you fr. Dave love you so much with your wondrous homilies, prayers for you.

Make the most out of our twilight days and to God we are grateful for the gift of life and the grace of love. Although our days are numbered but God still give us enough strength to muster our energy to some things worthwhile to do. Our limited days is not a hindrance for whatever we plan and hopefully what we had started no matter how small and unimportant it is yet it may be alive in the minds of people, for the happy days specially those people who helped save our souls. Bless them Lord with abundance in their various ministries.All these we offer to you O Lord God, our simple gift of a simple life of our new beginning. Praise be Jesus Christ, now and forever.
What a beautiful homily for me a cancer patient, that i don't know my last day. I had a very aggressive type of cancer. I surrendered my life to our Lord Jesus, i accepted death or my time may come soon. Struugling to live a life pñeasing to GOD, FR. Dave plz pray for me. Thank u. God bless u always. You will come nothing and you will leave nothing. But you can leave good memories. Like King David, he said goodbye and said to his son to live in a way pleasing to God.
