"we do not know..." Very true. I want to share my younger sisters experience when she was a college student and needs money for a project. Unfortunately , our mom didnt have to give but instead instructed her to go to our aunt who had a long standing debt to my mom. When my sis went to theur house she was shouted upon and very humiliated that she came home crying...years passed and now a nurse in the US she was informed that they admitted an old veteran man who happens to have the same maiden family name as hers. Upon checking it was the father of our aunt who humiliated her. My sis was so kind to visit and check on him, let him stay with them and even brought him back to the Philippines..God bless my sister...

I love Fr. Dave and his homilies,and I’m a subscriber. But lately ads have been popping out at the middle of his homilies and it’s been so often on the whole video. This is so annoying and diverts our concentration on the words of God.
Please stop these ads, put them at the beginning or at the end of the video. Hindi naman siguro naghihirap si Fr. Dave para kumita at isakripisyo ang salita ng Panginoon.

Our devotion is nothing if it will not lead us to conversion. In a simple conversion of what? Love the neglected, value the things and the people who are not valued in this world, the children and the old.
the people you do not like in your family might be the very person that might save you. Do not wait for God to humble you. The very people you malign might bring you to the hospital when you have problems. You do not know.
The children that irritates us in our masses. Whether you like it or not. Might be the very person who will pray for your soul.
Who will pray for you? If you neglect the children in your family who will pray for you.
If you prevent them from coming to Christ who will pray for you? That is why you needto bring children to Jesus.
That the very people you might looking down on. Might be the same people who will help you to rise.
Take care of the children because it is where we have been. Take care of the old people, because it is where we will be.

Love the children because they are what we've been. Love old folks because they are what we are going to be. Facts of life which most of us tend to ignore. In the life of insignificant people, it is in their ordinariness that we find God, simple and persevering. The children, the elderlies, the marginals, the voiceless, etc they are the insignificants yet in reality they play a vital role in our life, in our society. We gain age old wisdom from old folks, childlike virtues from children, the labor force, etc. A need for action to protect them specially the children. Good bless everyone and good evening.
