Having just demo'd and purchased a set of Bent 90s, the most common word I have heard in the description, and the number one word I can use to describe them is FUN. I got out to colorado with a pair of fischer ranger 108tis, and immediately was hating them as I am not as strong as I was last year, and they didnt have the snow to warrant the wider base. I was having a straight up, not good time and decided to take the first of my 9 day trip to demo some skis and move on. In testing all the high tech, hard charging skis I thought I wanted I also grabbed a set of 175 bent 90s, and to my surprise, have never had more fun on a set of skis. They are light, poppy, easy to carve, and give me a ton of pop off the back. As someone who is getting 20ish day a year of mixed use and quite a few NC training days to prep for Co trips they seem like the perfect ski for going anywhere. By the end of my 9 day trip I was hitting jumps in the park, which I had never done before, skiing switch into the lift line, and in general having a hard time wiping the shit eating grin off my face as i played the whole mountain. Do they hold an edge at 50+ mph like something with a titanal underfoot and carbon tips? no, but I sure have more fun on them than my faster skis
I also felt like 6-8" of pow and these were still amazingly fun, but did notice that I was looking for more float as things got deeper or the snow got light. Pow turns require a closer stance than some of my wider skis, and a little faith that the horizon tech tips will turn and lift, because they will, but they take a sec.

When you say mellow carving, is that like up to like 40 mph? and then skis probably getting nervous getting beyond that?

Hey Luke! I am still on an x Wing Tornado 178cm 5'7" 158lbs, 61 yrs old, been sking 45 years. looking to get a new ski. The Bent looks good. What size would you recommend? I ski 60% trees, bumps in NM and Southern Co. How do these carve and do on groomers? What other skis should I look at? Thanks! Love the review.

I highly recommend the 2012 salomon lady (purple ski). You can find a men's version but in my experience (and my dad's when he tried my skis) these work wonderfully on groomers, choppy snow, moguls, powder, ice, and in the park. They're light, durable, but have a metal edge and have more camber as well as a slight twin tip, making it easier to cut through rough terrain or turn quickly. If it's super deep powder, you have to work harder to keep them afloat. Otherwise, these have been my go to for everything. My dad (who's 62 and has bad knees) liked the control he had, the lightness it provided, and how fun they were. Might give them a shot. Usually, skis made in the 2000s- 2014s have the best control mixed with some playfulness, making it a great combo to ski all mountain.

The atomic bent 90s don't have a metal edge. Infact they have a fat wooden edge, if you can really call it that. They're specifically made for park and powder, therefore have weaker turning power. If you're looking for something to ride moguls and groomers, this probably isn't the best ski to ride, but who knows you might end up loving them

These or the Line Honeybadger? I like the all mountain style of skiing and hitting jumps every now and again. Not fussed on rails

Probably 95. 90 will likely be too narrow as that is the same measurement as the ski at the waist

@@polesolu9325 I did factory recommended. If you do true center it would mess up the ski because it’s not a symmetrical ski.

Hello! I’m a highly advanced skier who wants to buy an pair of all mountain twin tip skies to use on and off the slopes. Im doubting between the atomic bent 100/90 or the armada ARV 100/96 anybody recommend this ski or should I take a look at other skies?

I skied on mine all last season all around New England. they're great in the bumps and trees...extremely maneuverable. You can turn on a dime. Great in moderate powder but a little skinny for the deep stuff. On groomers, they're a lot of fun if you like turning but they do get chattery at high speeds. The horizon edge is noticeable when there's crud...you're less likely to catch an edge. Overall I love them and I'm a 185-lb advanced skier.
