I was kind of worried when I first read the title, but this is edited together really well, and the overlapping at the end actually made me smile. Good job.
Thanks for posting this extraordinary video - Dean Martin had such a spectacular voice and presence - combine that with Seth Macfarlane's exceptional 'crooner' style voice and sentimetal vocal quality and what a combination. You've created a CLASSIC and thanks again so much. I'll listen to this over and over again, and have pleasent thoughts of you!
magnificent mix shady, the overlapping effect in the end is really great! but what i liked most were the words of brian, they just seem to fit perfectly
Amazing video, beautiful song, great duet, it sounds perfect, nice overlapping! Just wow... and all the credits to Dean Martin and Seth MacFarlane. Great voices.
@ shady How about an 18 year old who is a fan of the greats! I'm a jazz guitar player who is influenced by Parker, Pass, Miles, Coltrane, but still love hearing the standards that these bop players twisted and altered in their original format! Great post! P.s. You should mix Stewie and Chet Baker singing "You make me feel so Young"!
I had no idea Seth MacFarlane sang this song on an episode but i love when Brian sings which I assume is his actual singing voice. And as for Dean, is there anything that needs to be said? Simply amazing
@@rushana1956 I said this 11 years ago. Even then, it only took me 2 seconds to google the facts: www.npr.org/2011/10/17/140946967/seth-macfarlane-tvs-family-guy-makes-music-too They were 90 years old at the time.
Amazing, nice one mate, great to see you youngsters into this stuff, I'm only 25 myself but it shouldn't take a genius to see how good a singer Seth is and how cool the crooners and the Rat Pack were :-) Can't wait for Seth's Big Band album. If you haven't seen it already check out "BBC celebrates 75 years of MGM music" NO. 8/13 on youtube - Seth is doing High Society
am 14 and i love this music , cant stand most music just now there is nothing to it just music and pointless lyrics , my friends can't understand why my favourite music is swing and jazz but this is true real music am so glad seth is making an album so i can hear more of this :)
@MrRollontide No argument here, I completely agree! Family Guy has always been my favorite show ever since I started watching a few episodes here and there when I was 7 or 8. =)
All my mates look at me oddly when I tell them I like classical music. I'm into bands like System of a Down and Disturbed, but I do have a softer side. Sometimes, like right now, its better to just lay back, let your body relax and listen to some charming music.
Recording engineers, can do anything imaginable. Example: Natalie Cole released a recording of "Unforgettable," with her Dad. Nat had passed away, in 1984. The magic of engineering .
me too im only 11 and i love dean martin my i started to listin to deano when i was 5 and i only knew little old wine drinker now i know 7 songs and i fell like im the only 1 my age who likes dean martin i wish he was still alive :(
Actually, that episode had "As time goes by", also sung by McFarlane... This song is from the episode "Love Blacktually", where Brian dates a girl who ends up dumping him for Cleveland.
He did that one very very well too! As well as the more swingy songs on "brian sings and swings" :) He really does have a wonderful voice! I think he should do something similar to Robbie Williams live At the royal albert hall. Mr Williams did very well but his voice just isn't as deep as Seth's!
I just remember when he was singing, Brian and his date were comparing the bags of marijuana. Then Brian pulled out the tray of cocaine, and then tossed it when she gave him a look.
hey bro, i agree, but dumb ass rappers have talents. im not talking about this new age akon and trey songz/lil wayne shit. but the roots is were its at, biggie smalls, ice cube, tupac, wu tang clan. those rappers deserve the millions of veiws, because they are the frank sinatras to the rap world. Rap is dead in mainstream music now, so please just remember that. Sinatra and the rappers of the old east and west coast hip hop scenes have there places in the musical world, as the greats=)
Difinitely not recorded by both together. Recording engineers can do things that you woulnd't do things that you can imagine.. Great example; "Unforgettable," featuring Natalie and her Dad, Nat "King" Cole. Nat passed away in 1964 of emphysema, and cancer..
yeah me too im 14 i listen to Dean Martin and Seth Macfarlane and the occasional radiohead and i have these kids listening to shit like dubstep and nicki minaj. Its fucking disappointing.
YaLittleJerks I grew up listening to Dubstep and hip hop, that quickly took a turn for me last year when I was 14 lol. A big thanks to my grandparents though, now I'm glad I spent that summer with them. Music has taken a turn for the worst and I hope more young people would change the path it's taking.
don't tell me you all like this song just because of seeing it on family guy and liking seth's version... that's such an insult to dean/ frank sinatra who he was inspired by because he likes this kind of music. And don't say he sounds like elvis... come on, elvis is the king of rock NOT big band, crooner material
Seth sounds phenomenal. His voice is so deep and rich. I am truly impressed.
I was kind of worried when I first read the title, but this is edited together really well, and the overlapping at the end actually made me smile. Good job.
Love the greats, love Seth . . . magnificent!
This is awesome, I love this type of music even though I'm 17. Fantastic :D
Hey man, how have the last ten years of life been?
mmmmmmmmm seth macfarlane, I never expected this kind of voice from you, when I really should have.
I love them both. They sound great together!
magnificent mix shady, the overlapping effect in the end is really great! but what i liked most were the words of brian, they just seem to fit perfectly
I always knew Seth had a great voice and this duet is great!
You sir, are a master- this is seamless
Edited beautifully
Amazing video, beautiful song, great duet, it sounds perfect, nice overlapping!
Just wow... and all the credits to Dean Martin and Seth MacFarlane. Great voices.
Both Dean Martin and Seth Macfarlane fans can both appreciate this version.
They both sound just marvelous.
Excellent upload! I really enjoyed the show. :)
Why isn't more music like this?!
Seth is my idol.
Both a comedic genius and a fantastically trained in classical singing.
I almost can't believe this guy created Family Guy, then again it explains why the show's musical bits are top-notch
seriously seth... please put out an album. your voice is freakin' insane.
Great stuff. Lovely! Really enjoyed it and not familiar with the song. Thanks from the UK. 👍🥂
Holy crap! My husband digs S. M. comedy. Wait til I show him!!!
💜💜💜
Seth respects the Classics and Star Trek... I'll give the guy credit for that.
@ Sckeckle and Shady I am a 21 year old girl and songs like this is totally the way to win my heart ^^ Keep up the love of the greats!
@ shady How about an 18 year old who is a fan of the greats!

his voice is.. like.. WOW
turns out that Frank Sinatra's voice teachers were the same people that taught Seth to sing.
This is nonsense! How old then Sinatra's teachers must be? 150 yo?

Amazing, nice one mate, great to see you youngsters into this stuff, I'm only 25 myself but it shouldn't take a genius to see how good a singer Seth is and how cool the crooners and the Rat Pack were :-)

Dino is the man. And Seth's singing is so, so, so gorgeous.

i love big band music.
seriously seth should take out an album, his voice is awesome, so is dean martins and frank sinatras!
@MrRollontide No argument here, I completely agree! Family Guy has always been my favorite show ever since I started watching a few episodes here and there when I was 7 or 8. =)
im 16 and seth macfarlane kinda got me into this kind of music :L
x
He is every girls dream, Handsome, funny and he can sing.
All my mates look at me oddly when I tell them I like classical music. I'm into bands like System of a Down and Disturbed, but I do have a softer side. Sometimes, like right now, its better to just lay back, let your body relax and listen to some charming music.
Dreamy .. 🌹🥂🍾💖✨

wow, Seth can sing!
thats awesome, seth is the shit, he sings and writes. people need to put on his Dear Booze song from Family Guy Live in Las Vegas, that song is awsome
Good news!! He's releasing one later this year!! xD Well later in the UK, dunno if it will be different else were...
@shadybunnz I'm 20 too! I love the old crooners! I didn't realize it was set h macfarlane who actually sang this lol
Recording engineers, can do anything imaginable.
Example: Natalie Cole released a recording of "Unforgettable," with her Dad. Nat had passed away, in 1984. The magic of engineering .
Seth should really think about recording an album with all these songs... He also sang "As Time Goes By" on the episode "Play it Again Brian"...
seth should sign a record deal
@DougAddams
Yeah Check out "Family Guy live in Las Vegas" on youtube - Brian sings Off Key (Desafinado) from Sinatra and Jobin's album - AMAZING
im a 16 year old black kid and im not affraid to say i like this track
Hear here to that.
me too im only 11 and i love dean martin my i started to listin to deano when i was 5 and i only knew little old wine drinker now i know 7 songs and i fell like im the only 1 my age who likes dean martin i wish he was still alive :(

What a guy
seth sounds great and he is talented. understood but what about a christmas song cd? i would buy it. please seth make a cd of christmas songs!
Actually, that episode had "As time goes by", also sung by McFarlane...
This song is from the episode "Love Blacktually", where Brian dates a girl who ends up dumping him for Cleveland.
seth mcfarlane could be a huge musician. but instead he chose to make us all eternally happy from family guy.
Hahaha i know the feeling.
*claps* same here.
He did that one very very well too! As well as the more swingy songs on "brian sings and swings" :) He really does have a wonderful voice! I think he should do something similar to Robbie Williams live At the royal albert hall. Mr Williams did very well but his voice just isn't as deep as Seth's!
wow i wish i could sing like that, i do sing abit but im abit crap
FG is actually perfect cuz he gets to make fun of ppl and show off his sexy voice and get paid for it!!! seriously he's amazing
Thats right, without the greats like Deano or Frank, who would Seth have had to learn from?
wow seth is funny and has a great voice what a strange combination
I don't know why Seth doesn't have an album out.
I just remember when he was singing, Brian and his date were comparing the bags of marijuana. Then Brian pulled out the tray of cocaine, and then tossed it when she gave him a look.

Seth's almost schooling Dino! Then again, he was probably pretty darn old at this point, so you can't blame the guy!;-)

Difinitely not recorded by both together. Recording engineers can do things that you woulnd't do things that you can imagine.. Great example; "Unforgettable," featuring Natalie and her Dad, Nat "King" Cole. Nat passed away in 1964 of emphysema, and cancer..

What are you guys talking about there might be bad music but there sure as hell is good music back then and today too
@CheeseMcCrackers I love Dean Martin, and I am thirteen. I know how you feel.
Except Mila Kunis.
They don't date.....
don't tell me you all like this song just because of seeing it on family guy and liking seth's version... that's such an insult to dean/ frank sinatra who he was inspired by because he likes this kind of music.
