Okay, I bow down to this amazing lady! This is by far the most ingenious and well thought out van setup ever! If there was a gold medal for van layout/setups, she would win it!
This was a great tour! Nice to see the empty van first and watch as Ramona packs. I got a lot of ideas ! I love the van skylight windows and her ring is gorgeous!
@@traceylewis5770 yes I think so too! I want a nice camper-like van or tiny home van but if I don’t get one with my husband maybe one day I’ll do a self build when he’s gone.
I would have never thought you would get all that in there & it would be so organized! You have everything you will ever need in there. I like your setup.
I like that everything had a case to live in - helps keep down the clutter and you can find easier! Ramona is so well put together I can see her as a great traveling partner.
Ramona's got everything she needs every day, just an arm length away👍! Keeping all chargers together is smart. When I get a round tuit ( I had one once but lost it. Never did get around to getting another one😉), I'll put a little strip of tape on the cords and write which one charges what. And definitely going out and buying an old school telephone/address book. Last week, my cell was in the shop for two and a half long days. I didn't want to leave the store. It was a very disturbing feeling. I was all over town connecting to Wi-Fi's emailing my loved ones of my dire straits. I started thinking of all the things I couldn't do without my phone. Couldn't pick up groceries, but wait🤔, I had my car. Couldn't cook my dinner, but wait🤔, I had my kitchen. It took a few hours at first to get my bearings straight about what was still possible to do. I remember the days when doing errands were simple. Nowadays, we take our whole life along for the ride wherever we go. A bit of advice. Back up your stuff!
Aww Ive enjoyed the last two videos I’ve seen with Ramona! I love watching how the vans are packed up and the type of items you all buy. Thank you for doing these videos!
Planet Fitness has gyms ALMOST everywhere. There are also many places with pay-to-shower. And many state and national parks have showers that you can use with a day pass or when camping. Lots of options.
Ramona.. you are amazing! This was awesome! Thanks for sharing ..I’m 74 & have my own RV & your VAN IS PERFECTLY Organized! happy travels and God bless you always❤Gina
Such a great, thorough setup! Thanks for showing us your helpful gadgets. My personal favorite for my van is definitely my HomeFi hotspot, I work remotely so I definitely can't live without it! Thanks for the video.
So happy to have found your channel! I am from Austin, born and raised here. I was happy to hear that you are from here too! I am living in Spicewood, Texas now, out past Lakeway and I am gearing up to do a bit of small car camping before I buy my next van. I am learning so much from you ladies who have been out there living my dream that I have had for years and years. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences with us!
How tall is Ramona? I find that fact very useful to know as I am 5'8" & not all set ups & builds accommodate my height. I am very impressed with Ramona's organizational skill! TY for this video, Janet & Ramona! 🦋
Thanks ladies! I really appreciate seeing how others setup their minivans for camping. Always get new ideas. Also, I’ll look at that power station. I’m trying to find something to fit is a certain space. 😊
SOOO helpful! thank you so much Ramona and Jan! Especially for the rechargeable dehumidifiers tip! I got so tired of emptying the old kind! Happy Travels!
Ok, I can't believe she got all that in her van. Is there a weight limit? Thanks Ramona for a great van tour. My daughter's name is Ramona, so it's nice to hear from someone else with the name. She loves camping, and plans to go on the road in a couple of years when she retires.
Thankyou. Very inspiring what you are doing. I learned so much as I dream about maybe traveling and do not want to get a big vehicle or pay expensive hotel bills. I could do this. I thought , too to get a gym membership for showers and exercise. Planet fitness is nation wide?? I have a little dog and cat, too and that is a concern right now. I would love to do this during winter months and go south or west as I live in Michigan, which is beautiful by Lake Michigan in nice weather. I am following your adventures.
Thank you for the tour and how she has it all put together. I have some of the same things to go in my van. I love seeing how the mini vans are sat up. We are working on the mini bus but I have a mini van too. Just doesn’t have the room for 2. I saw the yarn I do a lot of crocheting so will have some with me too. Have fun
Ramona and Janet, what a great and informative video. There were several things in there I have now on my wish list. I saved your video so I could watch again to get all the name brands because I don't have my pen and paper (watching this at 3:30 am)-(ha, ha, ha) Thank you ladies for sharing this great van tour from raw van to full home on wheels. Fantastic job on both your parts. Can't wait to meet you ladies down the road sometime, until then safe travels to you both. Sending vibes of Blessings and Love for both your adventures on your journeys through this nomadic lifestyle. Can't wait to get on the road, just healing from a few health set backs but not defeated I'll be out on the road soon enough.

You showed your big bottle of peppermint oil. Where did buy that from? All I ever see are the small, essential oil bottles. You organized and packed your van, really great.
I cant wait for my son get my passenger seat out. I have a twin platform frame for bed and im pushing it all the way up towards dash board. Then i have lots of space for stuff under the frame. And a dresser that has those fabric collapsible drawes. A camping toilet.. the reason im doing my bed way up because i have 2 fur babies and one hates riding so she can sit close to me when im driving. The other one loves to ride and i can fix his bed on the door so he can see out where ever he decides to lay.
I didn’t see a camp stove or an electric pan, or I may have just missed it! What do you use for cooking? And where do you store it. I think you referenced a kettle, though. Is that what you typically use? It’s a great build! What organization! Thanks for sharing.
The little electric pan you saw on the kitchen cabinet is the main thing I cook in. I heat water in a Jettle (Amazon). Also have a myMini pan and a MyMini toaster. And a few other options. Jan couldnt show everything or the video would have been too long.
Thank you so much for the quick reply! I’ve thought I would need a camp stove and propane for cooking. It’s helpful to see that electric can work. I’ll check out the products you mentioned. Thanks again.
Just brilliant. Love it! A clean and neat camper like me. I got some good ideas. My skinny bed for van is a TrunkMate. I can leave one back seat up too. I pad it with camp pad and memory foam.

What is the purpose of the fan in the fridge, please?
Circulated the cool air. Something recommended for RV type fridges.
@@RamonaRambles Well that's what I was thinking! Thank you for clairifying this!
Wow! It's too bad REI discontinued that bed because it looks fabulous!
Someone in the comments mentioned they found it be at an REÍ. So maybe they have a few left if you ask them. 🤷🏼♀️

Awesome tour! So many great ideas! 1 question: why the fan in the fridge?
Fans recommended for RV style fridges to help circulate the cool air. Learned about it back in my RV days.
@RamonaRambles ah ok thanks!
I really like those containers that open on the sides, too. The adult bibs! Yes, I'm so tired of not being able to get out stains on my dress tops!
For sure! 🤗

If you visit Dark Hollow Falls along Skyline Drive in VA, be sure to use the “utility” trail that’s north of the official trailhead. It is easier to navigate and once you get to the falls you are hiking up so that you can enjoy looking at the falls to your left as you hike upward (as opposed to looking at your feet/footing the whole way down.) Enjoy!!

The little black table at the 8:24 mark, please tell me more. Was this an amazonian discovery or another great gettin’ store? I like it.
I think I found that at Walmart a few years ago. It was designed for using your computer while sitting back on a sofa.

Awesome! Thank you!
I would be concerned with visibility when changing lanes with the cabinets behind passenger front seat. Everything looks great and comfy though! Well thought out.
Fortunately, the Pacifica has a good lane change assist alarm system. That with my driving like a little old lady behind the wheel of an RV helps a lot. I’m always watching other drivers. A LOT of the trucks and vans out there have poor visibility so I try to be super sure before getting out of my lane. 👀👀👀🦋💚
