Speaking of Toad, he's an unlockable character alongside Toadette in Mario Kart Double Dash. The same goes for Petey Piranha and King Boo for they are also unlockable characters. By the way Mario Kart Double Dash is one of my favorites in the Nintendo GameCube and I played it a lot back then and I kick ass in that game. My mains were Peach and Daisy, Toad and Yoshi and Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong.

I half-agree with Danny on Baby Park. It's more fun in Double Dash because the divider in the middle isn't there, causing more chaos. It's not as fun in MK8, even though I don't really like the course to begin with.

This game might be the most insane Mario Kart of the bunch just for its physics alone. I loved the tomfoolery sprinkled throughout this video. As a first time watcher, I've only seen one major flaw in this video: it's difficult to decipher who's playing on what screen, without a name/pfp or colo[u]r specific subtitles connected to the player speaking. Still enjoyed this video regardless, just something to consider in the future.

Double Dash is such a chaotic and pretty difficult game for the series considering how slippery the turning is. I would love to see something like this return in a future Mario Kart installment 👍

If memory serves you get unique perks if you do that. You can start a race with a bonus turbo aptly called a "double dash" if your A presses match up and you can slam into enemy racers to steal their items

Double Dash....needs a remaster badly. It's a very unbalanced and overly difficult game with bad RGN. All the stuff it does well is great, but it has some of the biggest flaws in any MarioKart.
