    Completely understood the meaning of feeling homesick. Living in US for 12 years now, and being away from Malaysia for 15 years, simple things like mamak, pasar malam, or nasi dagang are things you would crave for from time to time. This is a good video! It’s nice to see interactions amongst Koreans in Malaysia rather than those we see from K-drama. This is way more organic :)

    • @KakakKorea

      There’re a lot more things that I enjoy in Malaysia, but sometimes I just cant help it🥲 15years are pretty long tho! Hopefully all borders are open and can visit your home soon!! 🥺🙏

      @@KakakKorea Don’t get me wrong. I do come back to Malaysia for visits every 2-3 years. But my work/life is just not in Malaysia anymore. Malaysian food is one of the biggest motivations for us to fly home for visits. My wife who’s an American craves what she calls “bagged noodles”. It’s just takeaway/tapau noodles you can get from any restaurants. Little things :)-

    I went to Korea in Spring season. I cannot handle the coldness, but the koreans said the weather was unpredictable on that time. So, I had to buy used jacket at Dongdaemun market (I forgot, I am not sure) to warm my body until the last day in Seoul.
    I bought the jacket for only RM 50. Really cheap. No brand. Yes, I do agree with you that the quality is so good.

    • @KakakKorea
      @KakakKorea  3 года назад +4

      You went to vintage shop! Thats pretty famous in Dongdaemun☺️ there are a lot of malls that selling no brand clothes not only vintage stuff, also brand new stuff😃

    Totally agree with you two. Alcohol in Malaysia is very expensive compared to korea because of the duty & sales tax and only non-Muslims can drink it. Dermatologist/ beauty clinics charges a lot here because it’s not as common as in Korea. Miss Korea already :’)

    I agree.. when i go Korea during early spring.. i was wearing only t-shirt and jeans while the korea ppl were still wearing thick jacket .. they stare at me as if i am weird person.. to me the weather and temperature is just nice! haahhahahahaha.. but later in the evening it is very cold .... i am freezing!

    Malaysia have everything material and food abundance cheap compare to Korea. Can you imagine, I have burger only everyday in Korea. In Malaysia I can access every kind of food cheaply eneryday. Except jobs and salary are low. Malaysia also have many beaches by hundreds, islands, high mountains-cameron highlands, genting highlands etc, rivers, lakes, out door camping 16 states, waterfalls, hot springs etc etc. You need to be going out there. Food so internationally diversify and cheaply. affordable. Pizza Houses one????We have Fast Food Pizza :Domino Pizza, Pizza Hut, other Privaue Pizzas Houses but not one my dear. I mean Korea is a place of scarcity after you have stay in Malaysia and compare the 2 countries and go to Korea to stay. There is lack of street food, practically no porridge house, varieties noodle soup house, no milk powder something so damn basic that goes with putting into all your hot drinks like chocolate (no milo brand), oats, corn cereal, malt powder drink, soya bean powder, coffee etc....Even if you can find milk powder in the entire korea is a miracle. I have my spetacles drop and regret not personally bring my own milk powder when I went to korea, thinking I can buy Milk Powder in Korea like every country have. I am so damn there.

      Hey relax. We are talking about sth we miss about Korea like you missed the things in Malaysia when you were in Korea. The purpose of making this video is to explain when we feel homesick in here. Are you expecting foreigner not to feel homesick at all?
      If you react this way, I can only say I love Malaysia more than Korea. I dont even understand why you so mad like this we didnt even mention anything bad about Malaysia.

    • @KakakKorea
      @KakakKorea  3 года назад +11

      This video is not even comparing between Korea and Malaysia, we are foreigners and we miss our own thing in our country sometimes.
      Dont say its wrong we feel homesick.
      You dont need to look down my country or attack me this way. Dont even know if you watch this video properly, cus this is not we look down Malaysia or complain about it.
