Loved this room tour, I noticed your camera in the mirror is it a GP and one you would recommend for a cruise holiday? I would be very interested in some recommendations from your perspectives on taking photos and videos on cameras or phones etc on a cruise😊❤
Hi Bianca. I love the GoPros for this as they are so small and versatile and not 'in the face' of people whilst we are using them. However, they are not good in low light and for that I use the iPhone 11. I have bought some lighting for the GoPro and a Falcon gimbal so that I can turn off the stabilisation which I will try out on the next cruise but again if there are other people around it may be a bit intrusive. I also have a Panasonic FZ80 which is better in low light but lacks the stabilisation. Still trying to find the best solution for low light. For photos, the GoPro is pretty good but you do get a bit of distortion even with linear and there is no real zoom. I tend to use either the iPhone or the Panasonic for decent photos.
We are thinking of a NZ trip on this ship, we are coffee lovers and were wondering whether they use fresh milk or long life milk in the cafe's. Thanks Rob and Ali, love what you are doing and the amount of time you put into giving us invaluable information on the ships you cruise on.
Hi Bill. So sorry for the delay, we've been so busy. Ali only drinks Soy or Almond milk and, to be honest, I never looked at what milk they used. The coffee tasted OK to me so probably fresh but I can't be certain. Sorry.
We were in 12296 so it looked exactly the same… just a MUCH longer walk from the lifts! I missed the sign about leaving the balcony open and called the engineer when the air con wouldn’t work
Technical question...how tall is Ally... just trying to get a handle on room size....Im 187cm (6'2") and 130 kg....Im a big lad....too much rugby and Alcohol when I was younger. I'm continuing to enjoy your videos... keep up the grand work. BTW Happy New Year to you both. Michael and Heather. Plus.....what camera are you using? Im not into streaming, but using my dirty great Nikon DSLR for video is a pain.
I'll be in a similar cabin in a couple if weeks, my partner and I live in a motorhome and travel, so I kept laughing when you said there isn't a heap of room for getting ready, it looks huge compared to what we live in 🤣🤣
Hi Deb. We found that there was plenty of room for our suitcases under the bed, and we don't travel light - at least 2 83cm suitcases and the suitcarrier then some more.🙂

Hi Debra. Thanks for the comment. Yes there are. In fact, as we were leaving, one of the inside cabins was open and we snuck inside to do a very quick video. We'll be posting that this week so keep a look out for that one. It's only about a minute and a half long as we were just on our way to leave the ship when we spotted it.
Hi Wendy. It was but what we did was 'swap' the wardrobes and Ali used the double hanger one which seemed to work OK. We have mentioned this in our cabin review at the end of the cruise video which we will be posting in the next couple of weeks or so.
