Phish phans are very loyal if you feel like growing your channel,....do more Phish. There are literally thousands of live videos on RUclips. You'd love seeing them playing live. I promise!!! 🙏🎶🎶🎵🎶🔥💃🕺✌️☮️🕊️
Great song, especially those Tower of Power horns! Fantastic reaction, Harri. You picked up on all of the elements in this tune. Thanks, Brandon, for your fantastic request.
From the 1994 album, 'Hoist', this is the story of the assassination of Julius Caesar. I'm not aware of this tune, but I loved it, especially when the Tower of Power bursts onto the tune. Great vocals, the back up vocals and the instrumentation is so funky, I love the whole kit and caboodle. Fantastic tune. Great reaction Handsome Harri ❤❤ Thanks for a new groove Brandon 👏👏 Cheers from Canada ❤❤🇨🇦🇨🇦
Phish is a band AND an individual, the drummer Jon Fishman! The band was formed at the U of Vermont, where I went when they were still playing the dorms. I even lived in the same dorm complex where Trey/guitar and Mike/bass lived, albeit 4 years after the band formed in 1983. Mike graduated the year I started so I just missed him. Please let me recommend live versions of You Enjoy Myself, Run Like an Antelope, Harry Hood, Split Open & Melt, Mike's Song>Weekapuag Groove, Esther, Lizards, Ghost, Down with Disease, and Tweezer, ya know, to start. 🙂 My preference is for 1990-97, esp 92-95. I'm an old dog.
Phish are a live band melting in their performances the faces of the people in the audience...and melting together a lot of musical genres into a psychedelic prog rock to reggae, calypso, english psy rock, funky into long improvisations. They are four but act as one. Thelapatic people.. Check out the "Fukuoka" Twist 6/14/00 to get a grasp of what I'm trying to say where words are not enough. And get slightly high before starting. Magic carpet ride
The Phish song I always come back to is "Farmhouse"... ..."Welcome, this is a farmhouse We have cluster flies alas And this time of year is bad We are so very sorry There is little we can do but swat them"
Phish is an endless well of great music, one of the best live bands ever, and a hell of a lot of fun. They don't usually have horns, but don't let that dissuade you. Check out the song David Bowie.
I was late to the live phish scene. Hoist was my first CD in 1995, didn’t see them live till 1999, but that’s all it took. 25 years later and 12/29/24 will be my 150th show. I hope some of these reactors that enjoy what they hear, take the time to go see them live, cause whatever you more thinking going into it, you will be completely mind fucked when you leave and life will never be the same
good choice for a 1st reaction! But, you really must react to their live music!! That's where the magic really happens. Their improvisation is unlike any other band. 4 Jedi Wizards!!!😊
The man playing the muted trombone near the end was Jonathon Frakes, who played Riker on Star Trek. I hope this link works ruclips.net/video/zgOEoW7gqUk/видео.htmlsi=JERIbK5G437SGsUi&t=145
Live version of this song if you are interested. Note they haven't toured with the horns since the early 90's though so no horns or backing vocals live as its just a 4 man band normally. Still, this version rips: ruclips.net/video/8eLrV0_ZzI0/видео.htmlsi=KR87IpIpvj8bb450
40+ years with the same members, selling out arenas wherever they go. They’ve hosted their own festivals with no other bands, drawing upwards of 80,000 in attendance and were the direct inspiration for modern festivals such as Bonnaroo. They were the largest concert on earth on the millennium new year, and played from sundown on 12/31 until sunrise New Year’s Day Second only to Billy Joel for the most sold out shows in Madison Square Garden history. MSG is now also reserved for phish each new years holiday where they play 4 shows from 12/28-12/31. You may not enjoy them, but there are sooo many who do.
Phish is an amazing band you would love if you went down the rabbit hole. Trey on guitar and vocals. Mike on bass. Page in keys and Fish on drums. Just go through A Live One album track by track. It’s the gateway album. You Enjoy Myself, Stash, Squirming Coil, Tweezer and Slave to the Traffic Light are highlights.
Mike Gordon aka Cactus on the bass. Phish is one of the greatest live bands to ever exist.
The greatest.

Thank you Brandon, fully enjoyed the song 👍👍👍 and Thank you Harri 👋👋👋
I thoroughly enjoyed this performance by Phish. Wonderful submission selection!
Great song. I remember Phish tour. I don't remember requesting this....lol. Pretty good idea though. Nice catch Phish-head. Keep Phishin. 😎👌
Hi Brandon. I actually requested this song lol. Harri accidentally thought it was your request. Glad you enjoyed it 😊
It's typically an encore song live, so feeling drained afterwards is alright!

Check out the live version they did of this on David Letterman. It's amazing
These guys are like the musical disciples of the Grateful Dead and Frank Zappa.
