Ridgid 18V battery has no lights, charger shows solid red - fixed

This battery had gotten wet. The charge indicator no longer worked. The battery charger gage a solid red “defective” indication as soon as it was plugged in.
I took it apart and cleaned it up and it is now functioning again.

Must be registered within 90 days, otherwise warranty is 3 years not lifetime.

Mine has solid green but the light battery gauge isn’t working

The test button may be dirty or corrosion has affected that pin on the IC chip.

I just knocked out the ‘safety’ pins from the screws

you probably have a shorted circuit across two pins of the micro controller. You should clean it very carefully like I did in my video and see if it helps.
