Maybe you feel you've wasted the last 5, 10, 20+ years, but here's the thing...the time from this moment on, is going to pass no matter what. You can choose to stick your current path of pain and regret. Or you can make a change. Take the time you have left into your own hands and aim for whatever better looks like, from this point on. Let's ascend boys

This video came at the perfect time for me! I'm 19 right now, just moved to the United States from the Philippines. Also, in my first year of college. College was never really my main goal. My true dream is to become a musical artist. But alas, I'm in college to get a useful degree for the meantime to be financially stable after a few years. I started my passion in music at 16. The first 2 years I was going hard on getting better and learning more about music production. I had this idea that after 4-5 years when I'm 20 or 21 I'll already be at a high level and releasing my first album. I was also watching you with zeal and applying all that you were teaching: NoFap, Meditation, Exercise, Journaling, Reading etc. Then the last two years, I've just been half-assing it even though I have a music teacher that I meet every week to teach me. For some reason I had been practicing less and less on my guitar and gotten distracted with chasing girls, broke my months long NoFap streak, and started being inconsistent with my habits. I was still trying to achieve my goals, but not as much effort so I always felt I wasn't doing enough. Now that I'm 19, I regret the wasted years knowing I could be way better right now if I didn't waste time.
I stopped watching you more than a year ago but was still in self-improvement. This might sound a bit ridiculous but seeing this video and having that nostalgia of starting to watch your channel again, have given me the wake-up call to start going all in for my dreams.
    Thank you, Captain Sinbad!

Turning 30 this month. Lots of introspection happening lately. I'm in good physical condition and have no problem building relationships because of my adequate social skills. However, after working in a bar for many years I feel is time to move on and pursue a different career where I can have a bigger, more positive, impact on people and society. This decision is also related to the fact that I want to stop drinking, it has delayed me on my goals and taken away mental clarity and control. It's my second day of no drinking and the demons definitely want to crawl to my door. But I'm stronger. I will leave my 20s behind and all the regrets of not having studied something that I can apply to help make a difference in people. I know I'm made for something else. This video popped up in the right moment and the encouraging comments are helpful as well. Thank you for guiding us in the right way when it's hard to articulate the thoughts and understand the emotions. It's about action and time now. Even writing this comment helps when the struggle is real. Thanks for that.

The first video I've watched from you was about 2 years ago. Really well produced and concise. I'm glad you're still making the same high quality productions today. I loved the tip for the "bursting bubbles" segment. It shows that you can do a lot of small things, and with consistency, it grows to be something much bigger than you've ever anticipated. Something that is actually way more doable than trying to shoot for the stars. I'm trying to get back to drawing, it's a struggle for me to even open Photoshop and take out my drawing tablet, but hopefully I'll persevere. Stay well, Cap. Sinbad.

Genius. You made me feel ambitious again. I have been since 14 y/o focused a lot on self development, specially ffrom 14 to 17 and 18. Today, since we are moving to a new house, I was revising some of my old notes and stuff. The amount of work I was doing to improve myself was insane. At some point I started to decay because I didnt see that self-promised progress or greatness I was supossed to achieve. It is strange till today. But now I found a reason to start feeling motivated, truly, to pop some bubbles.
Sometimes I just need the right video hahaha
Thank you from the deepest of my soul, for what you give us in each piece of content. Thank you so much

Bro, even before I clicked on the video, the title ALONE spoke to me. Im constantly battling this feeling that I've wasted most of my life thus far. Im 29 and Im always comparing myself to those around me in the same age and feeling like I'm "behind" in some very vague sense. And then what's worse is that the feeling compounds on itself and prevents me from getting motivated to actually pursue my goals, thus leading to more wasted time. Ive learned that the more you feed into this mentality, the more hardened it will become in your mind to the point where nothing will ever be enough to make you feel satisfied. Like you said, you really have to build a mindset of allowing yourself to be satisfied with even the smallest of accomplishments. That mentality will also compound. Great video as always!

I really like the bubble analogy. I've been experiencing this "spread of enegery" lately a lot. I've had high ambitions for my music and my coding skills and currently I'm actually getting somewhere, because of other life goals (sports, eating healthier etc.). It's so interesting how you (feel like you) can achieve certain goals because you've crushed other goals just before that aren't even remotely connected to that one.

I actually feel like you're one of the ONLY creators that I used to follow 4 years ago and still follow now because you haven't fallen off. Those people saying that have just not come up with you. That want you to keep making videos about not busting because that's still really their only goal and all they can hope to achieve is a 1 week streak. The ones who still love your videos are the ones who resonate with you on a higher level, the ones for whom greatness really did come.

I think the hardest thing to work on in life is intuition. There are so many factors that blind me, like the overwhelming amount of tasks. Even when I find time to meditate, my intuition is just mediocre. If intuition were as easy to learn as the things in the material world, such as studying, life would be easier for me haha.

High energy is a life hack. I spent a lot of time trying to philosophize how I feel , but ended up concluding every day is a new day, so i start now my day with hot shower and instantly my head opens up about what to do next, instead of staying in the past. Also i have noticed, I generally get stuck in the past if i over ate the previous night, so i started eating early dinner instead before sleep. these two things changed my life. I also do some meditation and some light squats right after shower, then breakfast. This kept me consistent with my motivation instead of having some heavy leg day once a week in gym routine.

15:30 - no one knows what they're doing with any new endeavor (except the mid to super experienced and even then there's still a lot of figuring things out as you go) - prepare to the degree you can and that makes sense to / that's helpful, but mostly focus on the actions and trust the process. Doing the process is what brings a thing into creation that didn't previously exist.
Prepare and plan, to make the execution go as smoothly as possible and save time, make things efficient, but don't let the planning and prep take the place of and or prevent the necessary action / execution.

Wasted time is worse than failure. I always remind myself that till I have actioned anything it is pointless.
