I returned my Note Air 3C after experiencing the Tab ultra C pro as you can really feel the difference for most tasks. The only caveat I can think of is the ultra being heavier and not having the paper like screen. I have a paper like screen protector and it feels amazing now.

Hey Kit! After having spent time with both now, what would you say the average battery life is like on each? I need a good color e note but I think battery is very important.

Indeed, the thing to do would be to get the tablet and put a doodroo screen protector on it.
Now that you've had more time with both, how does the battery life compare, Note Air3 C to Tab Ultra C Pro?
Can't say for sure yet, but I'm thinking they might be similar in terms of length of time for the same activities. I do use them slightly differently though, so it's not a fair comparison. More on that in a little while!
This makes me wonder about the difference between the Tab Ultra C and the Note Air 3 C. At that level, they seem to be even closer in capability.

Thank you so much for your reviews, I still cannot make up my mind and I decided to ask for your opinion: I'm going to use my device mostly in my work for taking notes (I take a lot of them :) ), I would like to have an opportunity to share my notes with clients after our sessions. I'm taking notes now on paper and I am looking for a device that is similar to that experience. In that case, which device would be better to purchase in your opinion? I am leaning towards Note air (as it is also cheaper) but would be crateful for your thoughts on that :)

Interesting you mention the possibility of a CMYK screen at some future point. I've been wondering about that since I first learned how e-ink screens worked, back in the original (ugly) Kindle era.

Is it possible to run Android apps as X/Twitter on both? (I heard in other video there were some differences in OS between the Air 3 C and Ultra C Pro)
Does the Note have drawing ink smoothing etc and the Tab doesn’t. Or is that a rumour?
It doesn't have the smoothing in the same way as the previous generation, but maybe it doesn't need it? Because I've never been disappointed with the quality of my lines!
@@KitBetts-Masters Thanks Kit, appreciate the perspective. Perhaps that is how Boox is differentiating the Tab and Notes series further. As Notes is handwritten notes and Tab is more productivity. Though I think taking away features is a bit manipulative.Yet if as you say it’s not needed, well all the better?
Thanks for the comparison, how bright are they in the daylight? Can I read and take notes outside on a bight sunny day.
The thing is that you don't even need to use any front light when it is bright because it is a reflective screen. So basically the brighter is around you, the better this screen looks.
Why can't I get a color e ink with white bezels, no camera bump? Am I greedy..? Just delete the camera and build it white..
If you haven't already found it the Bigmee inkpro color+ may be an option for you. White bezel and while it has a front and back camera they're flat. They had more issues with ghosting and are slower than the boox but apparently a recent update was supposed to fix a lot of that. Personally I think I'm still leaning toward the boox but now I'm debating the 2 in this video to avoid the camera bump issue. I have read that if it's in the case there's no impact on writing from the camera bump.

The Udemy app and website don't work properly on Boox. Videos don't download properly.
Too bad all 3rd party drawing apps run awful on boox. If they would get around to fixing the awful latency in other apps I would purchase one for sure.
Could you suggest 3d drawing software that will work on tab ultra c pro? Ive been looking for something that creates a literal 3D canvas drawing space that you can draw within. Closest thing ive found would be Blender using Grease pencil, but Blender doesnt work on android so i would have to find a way to emulate linux on the tab ultra c pro and then run blender through that. That also assumes you can get the stylus to work on emulated linux to use as a pen/ pencil. Any suggestions anyone for android native 3D drawing software?

I noticed in another video you flashed a comparison chart of most of the top eink readers. You gave Nova Air 3 C a higher score for reading than the Ultra C pro. Why is that? Better looking quality screen? Any links to your comparison charts?
Bought Tab Ultra C Pro . Nothing is Pro about this thing. Writing experience is VERY BAD. Noteshelf 3 on Ipad is years a head ; better response , much better letancy , much better accuracy , much much better app.
I use sensetivity on , 0.7 thicknes , fountain pen on the noteshelf 3 on my Ipad as a normal handwriting and the results are much more precise and easier to write and much better print results then the Boox.
You tube Vlogers don't tell you the all truth. The E ink devices sucks for writing.
I was a fool to buy it.

Thanks for sharing your experience, and sorry if you feel you've been lied to. However a quick glance at the comments will show you lots of people very happy with these. That being said, I'm always careful to stress that one device doesn't suit everyone, and I have lots of content talking about how good the iPad is indeed!
If Apple would do an iPad with eink the market would be decimated. Can’t justify going Android with such a short support lifespan.

Android. You are right, it has taken a lot of coding to make e-ink work well on android, it will take a lot of work for other operating systems to look that good!

I wouldn't think that the market would be *decimated*. Existing apple users might go for the apple device, which would of course be extremely overpriced, while the rest of the world that is with Android or other non-apple devices now will stay non-apple and will likely not be converted to the apple ecosystem just because of an eink device, which in itself is such a niche market. I would also add that there's the trust factor too. Apple might have been making computers for a long time, but would I trust their first attempt device over a Boox, and for 1.5x the price? Naaah I don't think so.
