I live in Oregon and have been a river keeper tor about eight years now. I use my kayak with multiple tools to recover lures and line along with the other items lost on the rivers. I could fill a 55 gallon drum with fishing line and have atleast 40 lbs in lead. I've collected over a thousand bobbers and thousands of lures.

good one Ed, well done. I mainly go for the lead weights and scrap that, good coin for lead at the moment. I have moved 2 ton of lead from one spot as well as lures and rings and things. That fishing line does hold an enormous amount of stuff and it continues to add everyday.

    Hallo @edthediver
