I just decided to move away from sneakers, as they are hard to get with decent manufacturing ethics, and they turn rather quick into plastic waste. I think sneaker makers should offer free shipping labels return them to a recycle facility for your country. Also as mode item they are hijacked by 70+ ladies, and thats cool, lets see them as granny-style nowadays. I do have some classic converse low-tops, relative little plastic and always Parisienne. But I mostly get EU made leather shoes nowadays, and try to bring more to the repair shop for touch ups.

Am I the only one that couldn’t care less about sustainable shoes? I want comfortable real leather shoes. Fabric has its place but not for white sneakers.
Leather is the most sustainable product... I'll have a 1985 leather jacket. That looks amazing because it's leather. It has lasted time... Fabric in fake weather will deteriorate quite quickly.... Natural products like leather are the most sustainable..
