@KitKat-eo1qo yes most definitely! That's why I was caught in between the ELANTRA NLine and KIA K5.... ELANTRA NLINE HP: 201 1.6T KIA K5 HP: 290 2.5L Both great cars in my opinion and sleek design
It's mostly ok on newer water cooled turbos. Kia/Hyundai vehicles keep the radiator fans on for a couple minutes after turning the vehicle off, and the cooling of the radiator causes coolant to still move through the loop via convection currents. It's a little complicated, but yeah. And as long as the oil temps aren't over 220°F (they usually aren't when street driving) then I'd say it's perfectly safe to shut the car off right away.
Beautiful car but people will always complain about something, it's never enough for them. "Why it's not digital dash, or why it's not lift back, or why it's not awd" they never satisfy. But as soon as they do add add all those features and price goes up, yall gonna complain about the price too🤣
Right, why do only Hyundai cars get the digital dashboard in the US? It's ridiculous. Hyundai and Kia need to stop artificially restricting their cars like that.
@@armiz5741 you misread my comment. I didn't say it was only in the US, I said only Hyundai gets the digital dashboard in the US. It's impossible to get it on the Kia K5 in the US. Kia and Hyundai are owned by the same company, hence why I mentioned it.
This about sums in up for me. Buy a Stinger GT2 2020-Up. It’s miles better for a littttle more down-payment/money. Still have to give KIA credit for churning out solid, loaded vehicles.

I recently test drove this exact car and color and I'm caught in between the K5 and Huyndai ELANTRA NLine.... they both very similar vehicles
The K5 has a little more power behind it if im not mistaken, the Elantra has some better tech differences though.

@i.d.6492 no not the SONOTA NLine. I test drove it but it's to heavy for me as a single person lol overall it has great tech and features
The only thing I Can Tell you is, when you get ready to shut it down, Let the turbo cool off about 3 to 5 minuets. I Hope that Helps !
