Yes but bad engine. Use to much fuel. Specially since years and higher fuel prices in most countries ,make no sence to buy it. Otherwise I would have one.
@@selsin Just make more money so fuel is no big deal... Engine isn't bad because it uses fuel...
@bartoszbielawski8558 sure you can see this like this way, as this is your right. but for me it has to be more efficiency. I don't say the engine is bad overall. I say it use to much fuel in comparison to many other car companies. Sure now you could say "the price is cheaper and you can't await a German engine" but my reply would be, I can, because for me it's important even I could buy this car in cash. But we are both not here to start a competition. I shared my thoughts and I had the car for test and it wasn't an easy decision to don't buy it. But when the car come out we had plenty engines which used up to 5L easily less fuel as this kia.
I think it depends where you live and what price you have to pay for fuel.
I am sure it's a bit differentif you pay less a dollar for 1L or 2€ for a Liter for example.

@@selsin I very much doubt you would find different 3 litre engine that would in real life show difference bigger than +-2 litres per 100 km on average. Real life, no on paper. 2 litres on 100k km is the difference of 2000 litres only. Pretty insignificant conisdering the price of the car itself. I would also argue KIA is more reliable than average BMW, cost far less to buy, cost far less to repair and it's not common. BMW is everywhere.... Fast KIA is. Nowhere.
I felt like I was just being Ubered around and I loved every second of it. Very smooth, yet fast ride... therapeutic.

Ich überlege einen zu kaufen…aber die Geräusche hier im Video ab 250 km/h nerven. Geräusche in ihrem auch so?
@@frankriedel6751 Eigentlich nicht. Hier ist vielleicht vieles durch die Kameraaufnahme so extrem. Es kann aber bei Modellen mit Panoramadach vorkommen das pfeifende Windgeräusche auftreten. Daher empfehle ich einen ohne Panoramadach zu holen. Sonst hat man Stress dies richten zu lassen.
Und allzu oft fährt man zudem eh nicht so schnell.

Der Bastuckauspuff hat zwar geilen Klang, kann aber bei bestimmten Drehzahlbereichen bei Last (bergauf) schon zu einem recht starkem Dröhnen im Innenraum führen. Sogar bei geschlossener Klappe. Wenn du die Möglichkeit hast dir das genauer anzuschauen, mach das besser.
Und bestenfalls selbst anhören, nicht über irgendwelche Aufnahmen.

Beauty the sound of the motor when it´s accelerating.
Not sure how other recent cars gives sports mode feeling, but Stinger really does do something when you change it to sports mode. Recently had a chance to drive one, super awesome experience
I had 435D and sports mode + gearbox in sport plus and that was something. I miss it every day I have to drive my current automobile. Hopefully my next purchase will be either Stinger or Giulia.

I love the gear spacing on Kias 8 speed auto, I honestly prefer these ratios over the zf8

@@tvrtkocro28 they aren’t “longer gears” the first couple just aren’t as close as the zf8, but 4-7 are fantastic and very nice ratios.. especially for a top speed run

2022 and 2023 got the best tranny out of all the Stingers. They really dialed in the tranny in the later years, it shifts pretty quickly too.
This is why I recently bought one, beautiful car.

2023 was last production year unfortunately I believe, there might be a 2024 (?), but yes, discontinued as sales were not doing too well
@dany91307 sales weren't bad on them, reason was because they wanted to shift production to EVs so now the EV9, EV6, k4, and Nero EV will be streamlined..
If you want one, get a 2022 Scorpion. Fully loaded with the better infotainment.

The acceleration and top speed is very similar to my previous car Mercedes C32 AMG from 2003 (3.2L V6 354HP. My fastest speed was 281km/h but with weak wind).
That's the thing, it was like a 2003 car in 2023.....

In my “kia” I’ve beat my buddy in his 440. 😂 335 is laughable
And the best point is. This Kia has the Bastuck Exhaust System. On the left side of the steering wheel (you see it behind the blinker) is a Button to open the exhaust over 70km/h.
This will make this Kia Sounds even better.

Everyone loves the 3.3L V6 but I see a ton of them up for sale. It is a great car but if you want all that power, you will end up trading it in and getting a Corvette or a Mustang or a something with even more power. I see tons of people online in the groups for these cars, selling them or trading them for something else after just a couple years.
I bought the 4 cyl 2.5 L for fuel economy in the exact same car, which I plan to keep for years. Hell, mine was purchased by a guy before me and he traded it in after about a year.

4:16 What is going on with gear goes up and down? Did you do it by playing with accelerator or there is problem with gearbox?
he lets go of throttle and the wants to upshift but then he goes on throttle again

My Mercedes Vito 3.0 CDI is chipped, the Stinger can't get away up to 200 km/h, I was amazed that up to 200 a Vito pulls just as well as the Stinger...
i enjoy driving mine, shame we dont have the autobahn here
I'd much rather see you accelerating at low speeds around town, upshifting and downshifting with the paddles to see how It pulls, and how the trans performs.

I knew these would not sell well because Kia. I don't think they are on par with the competing Audi/BMW/MB, but they were the next step down at a significantly cheaper price. They are seriusly nice cars for what they are all things considered. Shame they did not launch it as a Genesis or something, might have caught on a bit more like the G70.
