Because this is not a rookie record that Angel broke! This is a LEAGUE record! If it’s a league record, it goes without saying that no ROOKIE or VET has done it before…. But yes it’s even more amazing that Angel is doing it as a ROOKIE!
Because nobody ever cared about this distinction before. Is 10 so much better than 9? Is 25 points and 9 rebounds worse than 11 points and 10 rebounds? Many players average double doubles for the season.

I get your point about past rookies not getting any playing time, hence no rookie recording a triple double…..HOWEVER Angel’s record is not a ROOKIE record. Angel has set a LEAGUE record! She broke a record that Candace set in her 4 or 5 th season. No other player has done what Angel is doing! It’s even crazier that Angel is doing it as a rookie.

So CBS I would ask why but I know why you did an entire segment on Clark when she broke her record without spending time talking about Reese, but you spent less than a minute talking about Reese when she broke her record and talked more about Clark? I understand that these CC fans have hate in theor hearts and that is why they always got something negative to say about Reese but how long will it take for your company to be fair in your coverage? We still have a long way to go. But at the same time people are bending over backwards to give Clark more credit than she deserves. Is she good yes but is her season great no. She is not the premiere player in the league that is Aja. She is not even the best guard in the league. Tell me when has their ever been a huge celebration for making one triple double in men or women basketball in any level? That is normally a quick mention and keep it moving not know interviews (why didn't ya'll interview Reese?, 3 day discussion and huge locker room celebration being covered everywhere. If a rookie getting a triple double is this big of a thing then it is no wonder why the WNBA had viewer ship problems. Know Reese broke an all time record, not a rookie record for doing something once, but a record for doing something more than anyone period. And the top two before she broke the record did it in two seasons while Reese did it halfway through one season. Then we just making up stuff just to make CC look good. When has any league ever made a comment about a player having the most points in the league when you combine their points with the points of those they throw the ball too? Who has ever looked that up in any league at any level? Why because they don't won't to acknowledge that they trying to make an average season seem great. Can't remember when 39 percent shooting was ever good. Yeah she can shoot the 3 but she miss most of them. She is a great passer but she is also great at turning over the ball. I think the future is bright for both these ladies but Reese deserve the same love you are giving Clark CBS. Be fair with the coverage.
