      @collenmccracken828, A great human being and noble man, who stood out among great men and women of their time. There are some humans who can't be bought with money and who cannot be cowed by tyranny. Those are the ones, so few, who give hope to humanity, to decency, to justice. We could do with a few Henry Joys' today in much of the "western world." You are, I hope, proud of your ancestor

    Hi Eugene, these stories have a way of changing as more information is discovered. in 1767 Henrys Father signed a lease for a house on Carrickfergus street. Looks like they may have moved to High Street in the 1770s.

      Yes, it seems moved to High Street, but I'm not sure of the year.
