Thanks for the thorough review! I saw an ad for these and was intrigued. I've heard that little pocket be called the "change" or "coin" pocket. Personally, I carry my guitar picks in there, so I call it my "pick pocket" lol.
I am handicapped, partially parylized Pubic rec has been a go to for me as I can dress myself I can't button buttons and such so the easy pull on and real pant look is great for me to feel like a "normal" and not have to wear senior wear.
Great review, Curt. (Regarding your concern about food stains, I dropped an oil slick of pizza grease on a brand new pair of athleisure pants--a different brand but similar fabrics as Public Rec. Blotted the stain with baby powder, then worked in Dawn Platinum and threw the pants in the washing machine. Stain gone.)
Why baby powder? Any specific brand? Also I find dawn discuss soap to be the best and have used it on most stains on clothes. However with any stain it's success depends are how quickly you treat the stain...
Looks pretty cool!!! I might have missed this, but what was your final overall opinion on these vs Vuori clothes you have?? When you need another shirt or pants, would you go with these or Vuori?
Go and Love...I like them, but find myself still drawn to Vuori. Although, I like the Workday Pant Slims...very cool and I can wear them to work, events, etc and they look nice.
Great review. Have a couple of items from publicrec and absolutely love them! What were your thoughts over the weekend crew sweater? Worth it? It looks nice but heard the material is scratchy and not so comfortable
Thanks Ben. I actually ended up liking the Weekend Crew more than I thought I would. I find myself wearing it around the house a lot when I need something a little warmer on, and I don't find it scratchy at all. I would call it my second favorite crew sweater after my Mack Weldon Crew, that I bought about 4 years ago and will probably keep until it falls apart 🤣
@@FitnessFinance4u wow that’s crazy because I had it narrowed down to pr or mack weldon for a crew neck sweater! Thank you for being so in depth. I just subscribed to your channel. Keep making great videos and stay safe out there!
Brett, it's a Nike Yoga shirt, but they discontinued it. I have 2 of them and I love them. Here's what I think is the newest model, although Nike looks like they are discontinuing their whole yoga line as everything is on sale in that dept. www.nike.com/t/yoga-dri-fit-mens-short-sleeve-top-Gb9v8d/BV4034-370
Nice review! Vuori doesn't seem to have the ability to mix inseam and waist size. Do you recommend any other pants similar to Public Rec and Lulul that also have selectable length and widths?
So the fifth little pocket on jeans and pants are for coins so they called a coin pocket. Nobody knows this because we use cards for everything nowdays..
Thanks John. Funny related story. I was walking behind some guy in the grocery store parking lot and he dropped a dime. I said, “excuse me, you dropped a dime”. He looked at me and said, with a straight face, “it’s not worth enough to pick up”. I guess change is no longer useful?
It’s not a coin pocket. It’s a watch pocket. Levi’s originally created the design in the late 1800’s for cowboys to keep their pocket watches safe whilst riding horseback. Traditionally these watches were kept in a waist pocket on a vest and attached to a chain. However, the larger size of the pocket meant it was easier for the watch to bounce around and fall out. (The chains really couldn’t do much on galloping horse. Especially since they were mainly just wrapped around a button on the vest.) Even though pocket watches aren’t used anymore, the design has become so integral to Levi’s style that it has stayed. Other brands obviously followed suit as well.
Thank you. It's guys like you that save people money and help with their online buying decisions.
Matthew Andel...thanks for the props! Happy to help!

Nice Jackson...I think a "pick pocket" is cooler than a "coin" pocket.

Do the workday pants have an elastic waist? I know the ADED pants do.
No, they are not elastic.

Does public rec aded pant make sound?
Not that I've noticed.
Really good video
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching Joe!

888cromartie...I haven't found any yet. I'll keep looking, and when I do find them, I'll be sure to do a review on them!
