Just put one in. Instructions said to remove the knob. Now I can’t put the knob back on. The internal spring assembly is too long. What length should it be coming out at top of shifter?
I hope the cable drive is better than the push rod, mine for the 4L60e has been nothing but headache, the modular design is horrible it is made out of too many small brackets and pieces, it wobbles, I took it off once in one piece then bolted back up and nothing aligned, nothing fit, nothing worked, I had to take it all apart and reassembly from scratch I do not understand why, yes I used loc tight on the tiny 1/4 long bolts, really poor design, notice how they don't show you this with the so called "Z" bend around the Neutral switch cause it does not work, it binds and buckles
Why do lokar shifters feel like the only detent is Park & Nuetral ? My shifter feels like it wants to slip from one to the next just hitting bumps in the road . Not like the B&M where all shifts feel solid & locked in.
hi,good video ,just wondering on my th 350 the tranmission lever when in park is horizontal with transmission not pointing at aprox 1 oclock like the example in video, therfore shifter linkage wont work as it pushing at wrong angle

Not really bro spent many hours on the phone with their so called Tech Support and in the end they told me to remove the neutral switch, well I like having that switch cause it tells me what gear I am in
I am going to buy a 1973 gmc 1500 that a shifter on the column. I want to change the shifter from the column to floor. I like to know how to go with floor shifter?

It would be close to impossible to fit that, without the gearbox removed?

Can you use this without the neutral safety switch? I do not have one on my offroader.

I went to the junkyard and got a floor shifter from a trailblazer and used it
Shifter and cable only cost me $29 works perfectly
@@Romi.Frentescu yup, smart move, the OEM parts slightly modified are 10x better than the overpriced aftermarket garbage
Looks at Jeff's eyes at :26. Do you really want to piss that guy off?
He looks like he may have farted and wondered if the camera picked it up!!
I mean....let's skip all of the really important things and just show the gist of it....come one, Lokar.
