Thanks for making this instructional video. I got the kit from the Lab with that awful blurred printed instructions. I called the Lab, made me speak with a professional and he missed telling me to remove the compression tube🙄🙄🙄. I couldn't collect the sample for at least 30 Minturn as he said it'll get into the pad through that narrow opening. My goodness, they are so undertrained sometimes.
Got the test kits from quest diagnostics. You have to hold the compression tube you cant push it into tube. Also, it did hardly turn red even though the absorbant tube was very wet.
Yes I noticed that the compression tube does not snap and lock into the collection tube. I also got mine from Quest and got zero instructions with the test kit!
Oasis Diagnostics how do you get the device to actually extract saliva from your mouth do you push the blue part into the syringe or do you pull it out? The video doesn’t actually show you how to do it
@@oasisdiagnostics2554 very disappointed on clear instructions regarding the collection. I am a visual learner and watching a video of a real person doing it. Would help. I probably did it wrong. There is no cap? I left syringe connected.
Why don't you provide the collection instructions with the kits?? You show a small, too small to see. diagram in the video but its useless. You should just show a larger readable version in the video. That would be much more useful.
The sponge with the saliva I attached to the collection tube and pressed down on the plunger and all the saliva dripped and ran down the outside where the 2 pieces were ""attached"". There has to be a better way!
I just got my test kit from the lab, but it don’t tell me what times to do the other 2 tests...... it just say 7-8 am but there are three collection samples!!!!
The components don't look anything like they do in the printed instructions or this video. These products are garbage and this "instructional" video didn't help at all.
And you wonder why stress cortisol levels are high?? How about trying to do this test?
there should be a video of a person doing this test in real time. not some pictures and texts.

The compression tube doesn't connect to collection tube you have to hold it together while trying to squeeze it in.

It seems like it would be easier to just spit directly into the tube up until the designated line and avoid using the pad seems faster.

You collect every 8 hours over the 24 hour collection period.
What is collection doesn’t fill up to all lines? Mine filled up to the first line
What time is best to get this done? My doctor didn't say a time.
My doctor recommended after midnight
