    • @straybek2667
      @straybek2667 Год назад

      I half agree with you because these days I hear “owt” pronounced to rhyme with “out” as often as I hear it pronounced to rhyme with “oat”. But when I was growing up in (north) Leeds in the 60s, I only ever heard it pronounced as in this video - although rarely with a “t” a’ the end.

    궁금한게 있는데 왜 3년전 노동층 상류층 발음 예시엔 노동층은 마치 건들 건들 갱스터마냥 이야기하시고 상류층은 예의있고 교양있는 듯 이야기 하시나요? 그건 뉴스나 내용처럼 억양의 문제만은 아니라고 보는데

      Mardybum. Lol maternal family are in North Yorkshire. Lived mostly south though. Love the friendliness of the accent though. Must get up to Yorkshire. Thinking Leeds city break would also like to get to Holmfirth. Love Last of the Summer wine. Bus from Huddersfield I think. No car.
