As a labor and delivery nurse in texas, the intention was not to scare you or assume you were in labor. Anytime you go to the hospital and your pregnant, just know they will probably take you to labor and delivery or at least have a LaborDelivery nurse/OB check you out. They typically do this when you hit the 20 week mark just to take the best care of you because we are more skilled with pregnancy related issues vs ER docs/ nurses who are not trained as thoroughly in labor/obstetric problems and medications. 12:55 and everything afterwards was my favorite part of this vlog - or any of the vlogs. I wish ya’ll could go back in time and look forward at those clips. The sheer presence and intentionality within those little clips of singing and dancing as a little family- those are the little things that matter big. These sweet baby girls are so so lucky to grow up in this environment.

I’m glad that you were okay. Lifetime fitness does have everything. They’re just super pricey. Also, they’re typically not that close to where we live. They’re in more expensive parts of town. We enjoyed it though.

I was terrified to leave my daughter at my gym’s child care. She’s only ever stayed with family. Started off with just a short period of time and now that she’s at the age she’s playing, she loves young and loves that other child interaction! So normal to be hesitant! I still have a hard time, but love seeing her little smile when she’s interacting with the other kids! She’s only a couple days younger than Ri!

My little nephew legit looks like Rie.. he actually keeps that straight face almost all the time and it cracks me up. Once i saw the face when Riella ws in the snow, I cracked up so bad 🤣🤣🤣

Sav, I feel the same way about raising our daughter. Mine was born September before Ri. I’m actually pregnant and only a week or two behind you & also having a nothing baby girl. It’s like we are raising our daughters together!💗

Before kids I was always annoyed by the month thing 😂 But I've got a 14 month old and literally every month he is soo different and learns so much! So I get it now!
I have to take zofran everyday and the moment I don’t take it I puke. My little girl is veryyyy active. I forgot to take it this morning and I had an apple. Well let’s just say I choked throwing up because of the apple. I got my medicine and I have been fine since. My doctor said it’s normal to have ligament pain, back pain, and peeing my pants because of all the changes.
He also told me that if I am throwing up more the 24 hours not holding anything down especially water to go in and get fluids. They tend to prescribe suppositories but I use that as a last resort. Walking or riding my bike really helps me. I get car sick a lot.
Do you do Keegels or the work out for down there? My mom keeps saying I need to do them or I can tear down there.

Praying that Josh gets better and I’m glad everything was okay with baby girl. Also I think the pressure you feel of becoming your best self for your girls is valid but I always think to myself like there are things I love about my mom and things that I wouldn’t want to be apart of my character and who I am and now that I’m getting older when I reflect on who I am I ask the Holy Spirit to guide me to be a better person and I also have other influences in my life other than my mom like my aunts,friends, and mentors. So I think you should pray that God helps you to raise them according to his word so that when they get older they won’t depart from it no matter if they find flaws in who you are as a mom or not and I always pray that my future kids would have a Godly community around them and people who are likeminded in their circle because although our parents and upbringing influence us every kid is different and will have their own personality and character whether you’re the best parent or not. Hopefully that helps to relieve some pressure 💖

Why aren’t u wearing a seat belt
Saying how many months your kid is is important of you are having conversation where you have a question or concern about your child. The answer would drastically change depending on if they were 12 months or 18 months so it would be important to mention. Otherwise it sounds weird at a certain age lol I think between 1-2 is ok. If a stranger asks how old she is you could always say “she turned 1 in December” and then let them do the math 😂🤷🏻♀️

Hi Savannah, remember our best versions of ourselves is not our answer. Jesus is our answer and it is His Spirit that will give us strength, wisdom, and grace as a mother. Our children ultimately belong to Him. Never once does the bible say that God’s goal for our lives is to be the best person we can. God doesn’t want us to be a better person, He wants us to be more like Jesus. Trying to be the best version of ourselves leads to us to focus on ourselves... we need to focus on God. The best human is still full of sin. No matter what the best version of us is, it will be a version that sins. Jesus is the image of God. He is perfection in every sense of the word, and the only way to please God is by having faith in Him. Therefore, being like Jesus is our goal in life. Live in the peace that His grace brings, knowing you’re already loved and accepted through Christ. Stop the striving to be a better you and run after Jesus and you’ll become better in every way.
