Im watching this and thinking that these cars along with my car will be a thing of the past. Were like the model As to kids today in the quiet electric car world.
It was so much more fun when there were different engines powering these. I say limit the fuel pressure and require only 1 plug per cylinder and lets do it again. Bring the displacement down to 430 ci or so as well ( for us early Chrysler guys ) .
love this video .seeing them fire up these nitro engine .watching the exaust out of pipes is awesome /just like going to lancaster speedway watching the super mods and mods fire up and ground shake HEAVEN !!!!
no one in the seat on some, in the seat with no safety mask/jacket very dangerous. the underlying sound of a thrashing machine drowns out the nitro sound. good filming though/
Love that belt driven 'Cammer'
This clears my mind of any world troubles
When I was in high school I raced my I/SA 1955 Olds at San Fernando Dragstrip. ET in the 15's as I recall.
Thanks for the video ... excellent
Just lost what's left of my sanity when the fired up that cammer. DMHAO

Was that a Ford Cammer with a belt drive? Very nice. Thanks Robert.
John W 1711 Stock yes I saw that, replaced the chain setup, not very attractive, but very well done
My neighbour had a top fuel altered with a Ford Cammer. It never won any races but it was always the best looking car.
Nitromethane makes them a different animal.

Running any of these cars w/o a driver/person in the cockpit can be dangerous!!
lee sherman it can be but I suspect drivelines have been removed for that very reason
Nitro and Naturally Aspirated Small Blocks just Don't Seem Right.
