Ryan and I took up this challenge, when I have the time I'll make a compilation of funny clips regarding how we ended up breaking this World Record, albeit a small one, for the amazing game that is Deep Rock Galactic.

@@M1911pap We both built it together, one layed the pipes the other one built the newly layed down pipes. Would also take breaks and mine out certain tunnels to have more room for pipe. Hope this answered your question. Also Bet-C shot the enemies while we placed/built/mined :)

We should have these on the space rig
The open-ended ness of refinery missions make them my personal favorite by far. The fact that you can then take this pipeline and complete the mission with it is nothing short of amazing from a game development standpoint
Its like a rollercoaster through a sea of stars and monsters. Those moments where the pipes go down and you gain speed and get away from the bugs are so cool

Wanted to realized the achievement about rolling a 10 minutes on a pipe non-stop, I accidentally realized the achievement about playing a mission for an entire hour
All budget of DRG went to pipes

The achievement said to ride a pipe for 2 minutes... not 10 times the amount.😂

The fact that this even worked from a game code technical stand point shows how refined the games codebase is. Other games would have crashed and taken you OS with it...
And frome the look of it, they could have made it even longer

how about we make a "stony rock skate park" where you can jump from from one pipe to another? :)
How the heck did you survive long enough to make that? I mean, you had to have run out of Nitra sometime.
Ryan and I did it on Haz1 which helped immensely, since difficulty isn't just health and damage, but also impacts what kinds of enemies spawn.
We had a good amount of Nitra left for emergencies, power pickaxe swings (faster recharge) helped in combination with BET-C and the fact that the Driller's CRSPR Flamethrower is actually extremely fuel efficient if you choose the right perks and only use short bursts (which is all we needed since enemies had so little health on Haz1).
