Didn't know the electric mod divided the tankier enemies' health enough to save ammo. The digging terrain comment gave a chuckle. Reminded me of Chocolate Rain when he turned away from the mic to breathe.
I'm not sure the added damage through terrain penetration takes this bonus into account like it does with the charge level 🤔 It would still be a damage bonus added on the top, tho.
I don't really like it. The added damage won"t do much more and it's way slower than the fast charge. I prefer to be mobile during fights and I can fire a full charge on well aligned terrain in a split sec instead of waiting for 3 seconds.
@@thanhlamao7864 I don't know, I guess focusing on mobility and versatility or massive single damage is a matter of preference (and also I often pick the wrong choices)
@@thanhlamao7864 it was a lie, yes. As amazing as it sounds going all in on damage to have a railgun to pierce the heavens, none of the damage mods actually multiply with eachother. Overcharger just adds flat damage on top of the base coil gun, and the mole adds flat damage on top of that without really benefitting from the damage upgrade or overcharger. You can still run them obviously and you will still get more damage, but you get way more out of having more ammo to line up more mole shots, and a faster charge speed to fire those shots off faster. Going for pure damage just leaves you running empty faster and ironically doing a lot less DPS as well.
I often stick to the same builds for weapons, and the weapon masteries are the thing that makes me try using weapons differently. This is how I tried the mole the first time and I was nicely surprised by how easy it's to setup and how powerful it is.
The Mole is all fun and games until somebody misses that bug on the ceiling and puts a fist sized hole in the Space Rig.

Why not use necro thermal with a fire build? the 30% additional damage could be huge if you get big stacks of mole

Theoretically, can you ask an engineer to build platforms in front of stationary targets, so your projectile passes through more layers of terrain?
