    She was hoping OP kissed back, was wanting to steal her friend's boyfriends, how nasty that chick is. I hope OP take her to court for that lie. He could HAVE had his life ruined!

      Yes, this happened to a sailor just before the covid pandemic hit. She cheated on him when he was away on a short deployment, then after getting caught had one of her toxic friends accuse him of rape. It got nasty and this guy actually spent some time in jail. It only unraveled because there was a Female detective involved who started to see all the holes in the story. This false charge was actually a blessing though. This friend was going to be charged with making a false police report IF the wife did anything but agree to an uncontested divorce and only walked away with her car and $1000. She agreed! This is why I tell men all the time. Have witnesses with anything involving females or at least record!

      It is cheap to accuse of crimes
      It is expensive to defend yourself from those accusations.

      @NeoXShiro Prd. When you threaten anyone into doing something by releasing information, pictures, video, ect, it can be considered black mail. Pair that with the fact that she kissed him without his consent which can be considered sexual assault. There are a lot of rapist and predatory people who use this tactic and end up in jail. Now as I said in my first comment if this was all caught on video tape that person would be looking at some serious jail time especially if the slander played into the mix. Because at that point you would have proven that she wasn't bluffing on the blackmail and actually meant ill intent by being good on her threat.

Not only that, but he was so understanding and they were both supportive of Michael. I feel for Michael, because first he goes through a crappy marriage and is now a single dad. All that pressure he felt being on the front lines in the hospital during the pandemic as well- the emotional and mental turmoil he must have felt is understandable.
    He really needs therapy and I'm glad he will get it. It's also good that he owned up to how he put OP in a tough place confessing his feelings like that . He was rational enough to take responsibility. I hope he finds love with someone who loves him as much. There was thankfully no blaming or shaming in this story, so I think that's why it felt like a feel-good story. I'd like to believe things will look up for Michael and that he and his son will be okay.

That friend is awful, and I would suggest getting a lawyer and suing her. People need to take action in court for this sort of thing of defamation rather than just leaving it alone. Because this kind of thing will follow you even if you don’t have a record. And a friend wants a friendship even after nearly ruining Op’s life? Jesus Christ. I hate this delusion that people think men can’t be raped or sexually assaulted. News Flash! They can.

    • @MrBrachiatingApe
      @MrBrachiatingApe 2 года назад +6

      Yeah the irony is that most of these things feminist cry as part of rape culture don't actually fit women's experiences as much as they fit men's when was the last time a guy got cheered on in public for admitting grab some girl drunk to consent, stripped her naked, and attempted intercourse with her? Even in stand-up comedy, super edgy comedian joking about that kind of thing. Or you know Amy schumer a few years ago, relating a supposedly true story. More amendment women are raped in the us, really potentially so. Going by survey data of people describing your sexual encounters of the last 12 months, men are actually fairly close but when one adds the prison population, then it's one and a half times likely to happen to men. Female perpetrators are not taking seriously, at least with pubescent and adult men.
      The false allegation thing is treated not really lightly but the scornfully by the very same people who claim to care the most about rape and rape victims. They act almost as if it's a necessary byproduct of women going to the police, even at times trying to justify it as a positive thing like it's starting a necessary conversation or the men thusly accused will achieve feminist enlightenment and empathize all the more with women then they need to be in a mental hospital.
      What is it about so called rights or liberation movements that they always end up as bad as or nastier than whatever opposition they face? Not immediately but God damn give it some time and it always gets more and more extreme, as we're seeing.
      Almost like people who claim the moral high ground cannot be trusted, and movements that state that compassion is the highest good are easily LED astray because of their lack of fixed principles principles.

      Nobody says that, and everyone who speaks about anything in absolutes is immature and narrowminded.
      However its not the huge phenomenon that the media is portraying it to be.
      False reports about sexual assaults are at 5,8% in the USA.
      Knowing that a supposed victim is always at a disadvantage since this is difficult to prove legally and that ppl massively dont report sexual assaults.
      As long as there are humans, there will be crimes and false accusations.
      Actually false reports of battery are more frequent, by men on men than by women on men.
      And yet nobody is saying all men are constantly under the possibility of being accused by other guys to have beaten them up.
      Happens often when too guys fight, one lost more and nobody wants to admit who threw the first punch, because they think it will make them responsible for the others medical bills and be in legal trouble.
      The fact stays that unpunished sexual assaults are exponential compared to false accusations.
      So yes errors and false accusations are possible, but acting like women are massively accusing men of rape is simply not only false but extremely damaging to the former.

      She is losing her friendship, someone who she thought is her best friend and fully trustable. It's not much different than losing romantic relationship. It hurts, unless you are sociopath. So she is fully allowed to cry over the betrayal. And now that she realises friend had done this before and she believed her. And sad that someone who she thought was friend, would do something like that to her bf.
      She stood by OP and got her friend to confess and tell the truth.

    VERY IMPORTANT: How often do false accusations happen? Well, folks break up and in MOST cases the story is "it was an abusive relationship" - meanwhile, her story does not match what Jane & Joe saw during the relationship.
    In this case: Notice this gal has done it before. Folks KNEW. Was anything done? What I mean is, if I call a woman the "B" word, or, God forbid, the "C" word, I can get kicked out of school or lose my job for such a thing (done during school or off campus - off work too) - but a woman making up a story that ALSO causes a "hostile environment" and .... nothing.
    So - GF's friend has done this before - and even GF barely even registered it. Oh, she registered it to how it effected HER, but not how it effected the VICTIM = the guy. Not even important to her.
    So - how often do false accusations happen? Ask ANY Matrimonial attorney (divorce attorney) - it's MOST of the time when there is a break up.
    Pulling the victim card is easy and there are no consequences.
    LASTLY: OP should tell everyone - here's "the why" - you can BET that the BFF is already doing so.

    2. Oh shit, that's exactly why I told my husband to stop telling his friends how great I am (I'm not, I'm very flawed, lots of trauma, I'm just very loving and loyal) because two of them started hitting on me - right in front of him! Obviously he cut them off. But I was like, "dude, stop building me up to lonely guys!" It's not fair to them. I know another resented him for it because - and this is funny to me - his wife is called Stephanie too and she's hard to get along with but he has very strong principles that you don't be friends with your friend's gf to avoid that mess. I'm really glad that they chose to be compassionate to Michael because I also know what it's like to be extremely lonely and sad, you can't think rationally, you're just all emotion and you're like a powder keg ready to go off. I can totally understand Michael's situation and how desperate he would be for love. I've been there. It's a dark place.

    Story 1. This is another example of the double standards that seem to prevail nowadays. A woman makes an accusation and the mans name and details are broadcast everywhere and everything she says is taken as the gospel truth. When it turns out to be all fabrications she doesn't suffer any consequences, maybe loses a few friends when what should happen is her total ostracisation from decent society, she should be the one to carry around the stigma for life. Even suing for slander just re-hashes the whole story and some even then will believe her usually because they want to not because they look at it objectively. In this case getting the lawyer to get her to admit what she did and have it publicly recorded and posted on social media will be the best defence for OP as if it is raised in the future these pieces of evidence can be referred to.

  • @Reikotsu
    @Reikotsu 2 года назад

    Story1: It is ridiculous how people believe every single woman that comes up with a lie like this. It is INNOCENT until proven guilty, not the opposite. It is so easy for women to screw up guys like this, they should be automatically charged with slander or face the same punishment they are accusing the others of.
