What if i select economics in my application as intended major but after getting in within the first semester can i change it to computer science or international studies major? Does economics major requires perquisites like economics subjects in class 11, 12 or if i only had math phy, chem, eng than can i choose economics as my major... Same goes to Computer science too i didn't choose any subjects related to it in my class 11, 12 still can i do a major in if i wanted
Hi! Yes, you can switch your major at Stanford, but you just have to make sure that you complete the necessary pre-requisite courses since Stanford requires students to declare a major by the end of their sophomore year. There's a lot of people who didn't take classes in high school related to their college major, so you're perfectly fine as long as you fulfill the pre-requisite courses at Stanford. Hope this helps!

@@SpecyBox If you look up "Stanford AP Credit Chart", you can find a chart with AP courses and their equivalents at Stanford. You can then compare them to the pre-requisite courses for each major if you search for "Stanford [X Major] Bachelor's Degree Requirements".
As colleges are test optional this year should I send my 1350 SAT score to the top ones and explain y I couldn't do better if I have genuine personal and circumstantial reasons? Or is it better to not send them? (I'm an international student)?
I see not much has changed since I graduated from Stanford in 1981.
Now what do you for a living sir
wow , great sir

Other than the Engineering Quad, campus hasn't changed all that much since I graduated in 2005.
I hope one day I will be one of the Stanford students in a computer science major.
I missed the tour so I need to watch it again 😂😂
hahaha me too! didn't see anything at all ;)
Cara and Christine are both beauty and brains. Thanks for motivating me to work hard. I hope one day I can share the same journey as you!
Lmao I want to do that exact major/minor combo at Stanford
Amazing video so beautiful place
Do they offer Gender Studies??
she looks just like the computer nerds i hung out with in highschool.
Nice Video! This is my nephews dream school. Any advice on what Stanford looks for in grades, SAT etc in applying.
They look for exemplary grades and standardized tests, but more importantly a great personality and passion in a certain field of study.
Are you allowed to sit on the grass?
no
Pretty good tour ❤
